I stopped by her room that Monday morning, "I'll drop you off at your office." I said when I saw her all dressed up.

"No you don't have to. I'll just order an Uber." she turned down the offer.

"I'm not going to be late if that's what you're worried about," I told her.

"No, I just have to FaceTime Simon. We haven't talked since yesterday and I have to tell him what happened,"

"Oh," I hid the disappointment in my tone. Again with this fiancé of hers, I thought sourly. "Okay. See you later then." I nodded and left.

"Have a nice day." She waved slightly and I exited the room with a nod.

I sucked in a breath and exhaled as I made my way out of the house. It was another Monday and despite how I really wanted to skip work, I had lots of projects to approve. I hardly had any sleep the previous night cause it felt like a dream that Hannah and I were under the same roof again for the first time in over four long years. If this wasn't a sign from God, I don't know what is.
