Chapter Nineteen

"Hey wait for me!" I heard Aiden yell after me but there was no way I was stopping. I kept running as fast as my legs could carry me until I ended up in his lawn. Thankfully the door wasn't closed so I easily made my way into the house.

"Liv!" I heard him yelling behind me and I turned to face him, only to bump into something hard.

"Oh my goodness!" I heard Nana exclaim. I turned immediately to see a tray of cupcakes scattered all over the floor from me bumping into her.

Ouch.

"Oh goodness, I'm so sorry Nana" I said and bent down to pick them up.

"It's okay dear, let it be" She said, trying to pull me off the floor.

"No it's not, you really put hard work into this and I've ruined it" I said nervously and tucked back some loose strands of hair behind my ear as I picked up the remaining pieces back into the tray. They were smudged and ruined beyond expectation.
