Lucas’ POV

My father and I decided to go take Ruby from her pack house. We had no time for the nonsense Octavia had been displaying for hours. At least, we had been able to get something from her. We needed to know about how to break Damon’s curse and fast. Ruby was the only option we had at the moment.

We got to her pack house and dealt with her security, we made them go unconscious with a very thick smell of a pungent potion. My father wanted to snap their necks but I insisted on using the potion due avoid causing a hullabaloo. He gritted his teeth and cursed under his breath. We sneaked in through the back door, broke the door knob and got in. She switched on all her bulbs, a certain behaviour she was so used to. She wasn’t the type to switch off her lights even though she wasn’t using it. She hated the dark or maybe, it could be because of the enemies she had garnered over time. She needed to be notified.
