Third person’s POVIt's been days since Damon's recovery and he's been doing very well. By the look of things, it seems Dean the witch's rituals had actually worked. Lucas and Alpha Damien had demanded that a huge feast be celebrated in honour of his recovery, but Damon didn't really like things like that. He refused of course, and said that being alive with his family was enough for him. Today, Alpha Damien had summoned the twins to the Central Meeting Room. The Central Meeting Room in the Alpha's palace was a special, confidential and tightly secured room. It was rarely used, and only occupied when very tactical and serious pack matters were to be discussed. Matters like the one af hand today; Who will be the next Alpha of the pack?A crucial matter at that. And their father had finally been able to device a 'fair' method that'll aid the selection of the next Alpha from his twin sons. A hard decision to make, as both were equally qualified and strong but a kingdom can't have two
Third person’s POV Andrea sat in front of her mirror, a curling thong in her hand. She wrapped a bulk of her in the opening of the hot machine and pressed on it, letting go of the hair afterwards and the waves bounced on her shoulders. She was preparing to leave with her father, he promised her that they would go to the city today and they could do anything she wanted. Andrea was elated and excited that she could hardly contain herself, occasionally giggling when she conjured up images in her headspace of how much fun she and her father would be having soon. After a few minutes, she was done curling her hair and she got up from her seat and walked to the bigger mirror that was on the wall, just next to the door. Her hair was nearly curled and beautiful, not to mention her outfit as well—a blue jean, black top with white laced sneakers. Her father had bought the sneakers for her and they cost a lot, he said he was ready to spoil her and get her anything she wanted. Anything at all.
Lucas' jaw dropped in surprise as he felt his paining cheek, where Andrea's hand had met with it and left a stinging pain."Andrea! You slapped me?" Lucas yelled with baffled wide–eyes. Andrea couldn't even answer his question, she broke down into another set of tears and lowered herself by her father, gently tapping him."Dad, are you still here?" Her hands lingered on his chest as she spoke those four words with a break in her voice. One, two, three, four, five; five seconds passed in silence and not a sound was heard other than the sniffling sound of Andrea's sobs. Her father didn't respond back and she felt an agonizing pang grip her heart. With shaky hands, she lifted his hand to check his pulse and she could barely find any life in him. The poison worked very fast. She dropped the hand and it landed on the ground limply, marking the exact time her heart broke, shattering into a thousand fragments. She stared blankly into space, unmoving, as she tried to comprehend everyt
Peter's rogue territory was quite the distance away from Alpha Damien's pack and it took almost a day for them to return back from it as they had traveled by road. The next morning, the day had dawned and activities at the palace had begun to kick–off, it was about seven am. The grand palace doors opened and Lucas and Andrea stepped in. She was a bit feeble from all the traveling and the emotional rollercoaster she had been subjected to, so she leaned her head on Lucas' shoulders and his arm wrapped around her, holding her close."Oh! They're back! Andrea is back!" A maid passing by was the first to see them and a beaming smile sat on her lips."Welcome back. You must be tired, I'll go get you water and food as well. I'll be back." She spoke her words in an excited ramble, unable to contain her happiness and she dashed to the kitchen to do as she had said.A light smile was on Andrea's lips—a few months ago, nobody acknowledged her and paid attention to her, but now there are people
Andrea heard the loud shut of Damon's door as he entered into his room. Andrea, Lucas, Damon and Octavia all stayed on the same floor. Damon's room was right next to Andrea's, so she heard the angry closing of his door and how he proceeded to shatter something—most likely a lamp—in the same vain of anger. She couldn't care any less though, she had a right to not forgive him and it's his choice to beat himself up for that. After that, Andrea's mind drifted away from Damon and dwelled on her late father who had been killed in her arms. The irony was that he was murdered by someone who she thought cared about her.Lucas would defend himself and declare that he really does care about her and that's why he set out to murder her father, because he felt and thought that he was harmful to her. However, Andrea believed that if he truly cared about her, he wouldn't have acted brashly towards things that concerned her. The twins would blame both their actions on the fact that they were obliviou
Alpha Damien had a business meeting with the Alpha of another pack and he decided to take Sierra alongside. They were away from their pack for a week, and they returned back that fateful evening to a serious fight between the twins."You know what, you're a self–centered and egotistical bastard. You think the whole world revolves around you meanwhile it doesn't! I am tired of you and I am tired of being your brother." Damon hurled the enflamed words at his brother without relent."And you are an ungrateful idiot! You've been cursed for so many years and causing havoc all in the name of it. I've been cleaning up all of your messes, everything and here you are telling me these words. Is it my fault that I have proven to be the right candidate for leadership twice?" Lucas fired a retort. They were in the living room arguing and the maids watched from upstairs, leaning against the banister and feeding their eyes from the scene. Alpha Damien and his Luna returned and their sons didn't
Alpha Damien had invited his sons over today to have a talk with them. He has been trying to do so for a week but the two refused to be in the same room with each other. They moved out that very day of their big fight and they've been living in their personal apartments ever since. Sierra and their father have talked to them on countless occasions to resolve their brawl and consider coming back home but they declined. It wasn't until much pestering that they even managed to accept to attend this meeting. Over the past week, Alpha Damien has been filled with an even more immense guilt than the one he had before. He brooded over the fact that he was the one who had initiated their split. But then, he had to choose a successor to his legacy and it's not his fault that the two sons chose to handle it in a way that wasn't civil. Alpha Damien was in one of his studies with two guards in the room, waiting for his sons to arrive so he could have the talk with them. He had alrea
It's been two weeks since Andrea arrived and she hasn't really been able to cope. Images of her father dying in her hands replayed in her mind constantly, she had trouble sleeping sometimes as they haunted her in her dreams. The bright side was that Damon and Lucas had moved out of the mansion, meaning she won't be seeing any of them for a long time. The two of them infuriated her in their own individual ways; Lucas for killing her father and Damon for sexually assaulting her. Seeing their faces was a constant reminder for what they had done to her and she was happy that they were no longer here.Andrea laid on her bed, faced up and staring at the ceiling as she wondered what would be the fate of the throne amidst the two brother's disagreement. Certainly, Damon wouldn't back down for Lucas to take over and neither would Lucas allow Damon take his place.Nevertheless, the current Alpha's decision was final and he would decide who would be the next alpha after him. Although, Andre
