Chapter 31

After we paid for the phone and got of the mall, it immediately occurred to me that I hadn't gotten any groceries, and other stuff I'd need in the house. I told Daniel this as we got into the car but he told me not to worry, that he knew a better place for us to shop for groceries and stuff. We drove off the mall with me staring down at my new phone.

"What are you staring at it for? Turn it on!" Daniel urged and I placed my thumb on the side button, pressing and holding it in for a few seconds. The screen came on immediately.

"It's on." I announced to Daniel, and he gave me a thumbs up in reply. I started at the expensive piece of shit in my hand. It wasn't literally shit, I mean I liked it and all but I found it a little too pricey. All that money just do I could make calls and receive texts?

The home screen popped up and it was a picture of a fish. I was so changing that later. I have to set the thing up first.
