Chapter Eleven

"Come and look at my little princess", Irvin declares once Trevor and Marvin enter the room where he stood with the newborn child in his arms while Karen sat on the bed watching him.

"It's a girl", Marvin breathes out.

"Of course it is, did you think the moon goddess wouldn't grant the wishes of most of the inhabitants of this home?", Irvin chuckles.

"The male pup team was actually larger", Trevor reminds.

"Don't tell me Marvin was rooting for a male pup too"

"A pup is a pup. Besides, I am still happy even though Karen dashed my hopes", Marvin replies and Karen smiles.

"My hopes were dashed too. Look at how he's cuddling her but he hasn't even touched me since I gave birth", Karen whines.

"Irvin!", Trevor and Marvin complain and Irvin laughs.

"I was holding her throughout the birth procedure", Irvin argues.

"And so?", Trevor retorts and Karen beams with smiles.

"I knew you will be on my side! My Alpha and Beta have never disappointed me", Karen rejoices and everyone laughs.
