"Get off my car, Castor", Marvin announces as he stops few blocks away from Castor's school. "Thanks, Alpha", Castor replies as he opens the door. "Are you still being slow when you're late? Hurry on already", Marvin urges and Castor smiles as he shuts the door of the car then begins running. "I can't believe how much he has grown in the past three years", Marvin smiles as he begins heading to the company. The construction had been completed the previous day and furnishing was all that was left. The raw materials that they were stocking up was even going to arrive today and the insides of the main building was going to be painted too. The painting was going to be handled by the pack members as it had been right from the start so it was one of the moments where he would get to have fun with his pack. Those moments were going to be rare after the launching so he wanted to savour them. He is just pulling over in the parking lot when he notices an unfamiliar red car. "I don't reme
"What are you talking about?", Gabriella replies just as quickly. "Don't you dare try to act innocent with me. Answer me now!", Marvin yells angrily. "I didn't do anything, for real! I was really touched when you let me and my team go the last time I was here, you even let go of the persons your men had previously abducted in our first attack. That's why I'm here", she answers as she walks closer to him. "Don't fucking lie to me!" "I'm being honest! And it just breaks my heart to see that you don't even believe me", she says with tears pooling in her eyes and Marvin's facial expression softens. "I know that I've been a bad mate but you can't blame me for every bad thing that happens", she sobs and Marvin bridges the distance the two of them to hug her. "I'm sorry", he breathes out. "You are such a softie", she drawls as she comes out of his embrace and Marvin frowns confusedly. "The baby is somewhere you'll never find", she smirks and snatches the novel from him then bolts away
'Now you're fucked', Marvin thinks as he realizes that he was holding Gabriella. 'She was quick though for her to have gotten here already' "I didn't think you would", the lady smirks on seeing how he stared at Gabriella surprisedly. "She is still just as effective though. I'm sure your Alpha would have your heads if you returned to Green Bay without his daughter", Marvin fires back, thinking quickly. "Except that we have the larger advantage here. You might be an Alpha but you're just one person" 'Trevor', Marvin mindlinks. 'Don't distract me right now, I can see you. Everything will be fine as long as you keep on talking till I get to you', Trevor answers hurriedly and cuts off the mind link. 'I'm usually the one cutting you off', Marvin chuckles to himself internally. "How about we try to end this quickly before the police gets here? I have enough connections to get myself out but you don't. You're not even in your home state", Marvin bargains. "So what are you suggesting?
Marvin pulls over in front of his home with a sigh and turns off the engine. Thankfully, their home had a private driveway that could lead them straight to their home from outside the pack so he didn't have to drive through the pack with an unconscious Gabriella and a sleeping Gretta. He had dumped the baby on Gabriella's laps once he got into the car and strapped the both of them together after loosening the belt to the highest extent he could. Gretta had stopped crying shortly after he started driving and fallen asleep out of exertion. He gets out of the car immediately after shutting off the engine and takes Gretta out then begins heading to the house. "Alpha is here!", a guard at the door yells when he is few steps away from the house. "Marvin!", Stacey and Karen shout from inside the house and immediately rush out. "Oh my gosh, my baby", Karen gasps, bursting into tears as she gets to Marvin and sees her child sleeping in his arms. "Are you alright?", Stacey asks when she
Stacey certainly doesn't know how to react on hearing that her son has a mate. Castor is of age and she knows that but watching her son walk in with a girl just makes it suddenly hit her hard; her baby has grown. "Castor...", she exhales. "Hey Mum", Castor replies in a carefree tone though he was too tensed to look at her. 'The kid is doing well, he had been freaking out but managed to cover it up so well', Irvin tells Karen in a private mind link. 'Freaking out? Why would he freak out? We have all been expecting it since his birthday is next tomorrow', Karen wonders. 'You would never understand, forget it' Castor and the girl soon get to the couch and she sits down then Castor finally looks his mother in the eye. "Mum, meet my mate Tyra", he introduces and Stacey looks at the petite girl, even though her long white hair shades most of her face. "Wow", Stacey manages to blurt out just as Marvin and Trevor walk into the house. "Stacey, have you met Tyra? Don't you think she l
"What do you mean by what I am supposed to do?" "You know what I'm talking about, Marvin", Stacey fires back. "You can't just tell me to reject my mate just she makes you all feel uncomfortable" "Then just don't bring her to our home, don't even bring her to the pack if possible until you've straightened things out with her", Irvin deadpans. "I wouldn't even want to see her even then after what she has already done", Stacey mumbles and everyone stares at her. "Why do you hate her so much anyway?", Irvin frowns. "I don't take people who mess with my family lightly", she responds. "Marvin, you have to make a decision on this" "You all know my decision. I will try to protect everybody the best I can but I can't send her away. I will deal with her properly once the launching is over, I promise" "No Marvin, deal with her now. Once she wakes up, confirm what her priorities are even though they are quite obvious and make her know she's on her own if she goes against us again", Trevo
The shrieking cry of a baby pierces the air and Gabriella shifts annoyedly on the bed she lay on. She turns about for a while before finally sitting up with a frown. "Why won't that child just shut up and sleep?", she complains grouchily in a sleepy tone just as realization dawns on her. There was only one place she had slept in her entire life where a child had interrupted her sleep by crying loudly in the night. "Damn Gabriella, how are you here in Marvin's home again?", she reprimands herself. "How come that child is even back home?", she snorts just as her memories suddenly come back to her in a flash making her groan. "To think that I'm the one that brought up the idea of adding more wolfsbane to the dart mixture so that it would be more effective. Look how long you've been unconscious now", she chuckles as she remembers getting shot. 'Is it possible for me to make my way out of here before daybreak?', she wonders and looks out of the window only to see that it was already
Castor's mouth falls open as he watches his mate transform into a column of fire. A huge ball of fire suddenly emanates from her and lands metres away, digging a huge crater into the ground. The guards are already rushing to put off the fire when another fireball lands few metres beside the first one. "Stand down, we don't know if she's done yet!", Marvin yells out loud and into a mindlink with the guards, not wanting anyone to claim not having heard the order. The fire around Tyra's body begins to wane making her body outline visible after the release of the second fireball while everyone watches in silence. "I think she's done", Gabriella sighs and Castor immediately runs towards her. "Castor, wait!", she yells just as quickly but he is already at Tyra's side catching her as she is about to fall to the ground. She was now in human form once again with her hair no more glowing but completely naked as even though the fire couldn't hurt her, her clothes couldn't be spared. Everyo
