"Marvin!", Trevor calls as he runs up the staircase in search of Marvin. 'I'm coming, just stay where you are', Trevor hears through his mind link and immediately pauses. "Come and look at my little princess", Irvin declares once Trevor and Marvin enter the room where he stood with the newborn child in his arms while Karen sat on the bed watching him. "It's a girl", Marvin breathes out. "Of course it is, did you think the moon goddess wouldn't grant the wishes of most of the inhabitants of this home?", Irvin chuckles. Besides, I am still happy even though Karen dashed my hopes", Marvin replies and Karen smiles. "My hopes were dashed too. Look at how he's cuddling her but he hasn't even touched me since I gave birth", Karen whines. "Irvin!", Trevor and Marvin complain and Irvin laughs. "I was holding her throughout the birth procedure", Irvin argues. "And so?", Trevor retorts and Karen beams with smiles. "I knew you will be on my side! "Marvin, what are you doing up here?", Trevor asks as he walks into Marvin's office and shuts the door behind himself. "Nothing much, I'm just going over the plans to see if everything is pushing through perfectly. I find it difficult to relax nowadays, I can't wait till we're done with everything concerning the setup" "Of course you must feel this way, you're the boss!", Trevor laughs and sits on one of the chairs opposite Marvin. "This temporary office of yours is quite really getting more comfortable as the days pass by. "What are you doing?", Marvin sighs frustratedly as he shuts the door of his office. "How did you know I was here?", she mutters. "The same way I figured you were here the last time", Marvin deadpans. "That's not possible" "Because you used a scent concealer?", Marvin asks and her eyes widen. "It was only hard initially. Once I started following you, it only got easier and easier", he explains and she curses. "Why are you doing this when you could be on my side instead? Did you see how everyone looked at you the moment I said you're my Luna?" "My people were only surprised because they were kept in the dark, they don't care about your temporary status", she retorts, laying further emphasis on the word 'temporary' as she spoke. "And my men? They were surprised alright but they were just a little away from kneeling to you even though you are the enemy", he tells her and she rolls her eyes. "Respect is something I've attracted since childhood, it is nothing to me now", she yawns.
