Chapter Eight

"Good morning, Alpha", Castor greets with a smile as Marvin walks out of his room dressed in a suit.

"Same, Castor", Marvin replies. "What's for breakfast?"

"Cereals for me, I don't know about the rest of the house"

"I'll just have coffee then", Marvin decides. "Is your mother around?"

"No, I'll go find her"

"Don't bother, finish up with your breakfast so that you won't be late", Marvin waives and walks into the kitchen.

Marvin soon walks out of the kitchen with a cup of coffee in hand and then proceeds to look for Stacey. He finds her in the laundry room and stops at the door.

"Stacey"

"Marvin. Good morning", she smiles.

"I see you haven't made breakfast yet"

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know you were going to the office today. Karen is still in bed and the rest have gone out already so I thought I could do the laundry before making breakfast", she apologizes.

"That's actually fine, I wasn't feeling up to breakfast"

"Okay, but won't you take anything at all?"
