CHAPTER TWELVE: Unexpected

“Is it your artwork, Ms. Valderrama?” Mr. Tan suddenly caught his attention to one of my works as he was looking at it interestingly.

I looked at him while his eyes were still there. “Yes, Vida Humana. Actually, that artwork reflects human nature and portrays how we should give value to our nature’s life..” I noticed he was nodding his head while his finger was under his chin. He might be thinking something.

Suddenly, he turned his body to me and he asked. “How much is the price of that artwork of yours?” looks like he is interested in buying it now. So, I replied.

“I sell it for ten million dollars. But if you wanted to have some price negotiable, we can talk about that Mr. Tan..” he chuckled for a second when he heard about what I said.

“Thank you, Mr. Valderrama. Well, I can buy it for its original price but as an old collector of yours, you really should..” as he said that, we both laughed for a moment.
