Chapter 6 (Part 2)

“Luigi Romano.” I greet my old friend when I enter his office on the seventh floor of the office building where some of my offices are located as well. Luigi is one of my oldest associates, we actually went to school together, but our paths changed when he became a detective in the police. We still met for a drink at times, but he evidently got married and started a family; his priorities changed and we started seeing less and less of one another until his wife left him and took everything he owned. I coincidently bumped into him one night at one of my casinos when security got hold of him for counting cards. He was drunk, depressed and using his mind to pay for yet another night’s stay in the hotel and cover his refreshments. If this was anyone else there would have been serious consequences, but luckily for me he was my friend and I was there at precisely the right time and I paid for his room in advance for three months, offered him the office floor for the first three months rent-
