Chapter III

When Andrei has done cooking food for them, He goes upstairs to check on them, He sees that the doors are locked which is why he knocks and suddenly Mrs. Cruz opens the door for him.

"Is she ready?" He asked and try to look for Fleur in the room but he just sees her sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Yes. Fleur? Let's go!" Mrs. Cruz called Fleur and Andrei see her stand up on the bed, As she turns around to face them, Andrei sees how beautiful she is, She's so beautiful whether she has these big wounds on her face.

"Let's go," Andrei smiled genuinely and lead them downstairs.

They ate as Mrs. Cruz said, "How was it, Fleur?" She even ask.

"It's good," Fleur answered.

"Andrei cooked that for us," Mrs. Cruz smile at Andrei, it was just nothing for him cause he knows that his mom knows that he has a girlfriend and she likes Sammy for him too.

They just ate and then Andrei asked Fleur to go into the backyard so they can talk about how they can help her to talk with Memphis.

"Wouldn't he be angry if you didn't tell him the truth," Fleur asked Andrei.

"This decision of ours is not final, we will talk to our friends to find another way for you to meet without him getting angry," Andrei explained to her.

"Is that so? When would they come here?" She asks.

"Hmmm?! As they say maybe tomorrow afternoon, We will just wait for them," Andrei said.

"Okay," She nodded.

"Hmmm? Fleur, Can you explain what happen with you two?" Andrei asked and see her emotion change.

"It's my fault," She started, "I pushed him away, I hurt him," She cries.

***flashback***

"Fleur, Don't do this to me, please?!" Memphis cried pleading with Fleur while holding her both hands.

"I'm sorry, Memphis but I don't love you anymore!" Fleur tried not to cry in front of him and removed his hands holding on to her.

"No! I know that you still love me, please don't leave me, Love! I Love You!" Fleur sees how he was hurting while he tried to reach her but she refuses.

"I'm sorry, please go out!" Fleur let go of him and turned away so she cannot see him crying for her.

"I'm sorry Love," Fleur whispered to me, Even though she doesn't want to divorce him, they can't be together because her parents don't like Memphis for her.

When Fleur closed the door, She could still hear him crying and begging her, "Fleur! Please, Love! Don't do this to me!" He shouted from outside their home.

"Please, Memphis leave now," As Fleur whispers those words her father coming out the door.

"You! Get out of our backyard! We don't need a bastard here!" Mr. Griffin shouted to Memphis.

"Please, Tito! Let me talk to Fleur!" Memphis pleads with her father but he doesn't seem to hear anything.

"You hear her, She said she didn't love you anymore and We don't like you for my daughter! You can leave us now or else I call cops to get you!" Mr. Griffin was still threatening him.

Fleur peeked at the door to see them, She saw Memphis kneeling and begging her Dad but he tried to shout and drive Memphis away.

"No, Sir! Please, I j-just want to talk to her, please!" Memphis almost kiss the shoes of Mr. Griffin while saying those words to him.

"Young man, as I said to you if you won't leave right now the cops will take you!", Mr. Griffin shouted to Memphis.

"Please, leave now Memphis," Fleur said as if Memphis hearing her.

"S-sir", Memphis stuttered, "P-please," Fleur can't take it anymore, She steps out the door and planned to walk after them but cops came.

"Take him!" Mr. Griffin announced so Fleur run to not let them take Memphis but she's too late for that, They already get him and put him in the police car.

"It hurts for me that he was hurt but I know that Memphis feels twice as sick because I pushed him away, I love him, I love him so much but I have to do that so that Dad doesn't hurt him," Fleur cried.

"If you ant, Why did you still do it?" Andrei asked.

"Because I don't want Dad to beat him and despite of that he can take him right in prison without any reason," she explained, which surprised him.

"How can you say?" Andrei asks curiously.

"B-because———" Fleur thinking what to say, "Because he's one of the richest person in Bulacan," She can't hold it that is why she tells Andrei the truth.

'If that's the case, she's not just my best friend's ex-girlfriend. She's also a daughter of an influential person who can kill without the government's knowledge' Andrei said to his mind.

"I'm impressed with you," It just came out of Andrei's mouth.

"W-why?" Fleur ask.

"Aahhh, Hmm?! Because———" Andrei was thinking of what to say to her, "C-cause you were able to leave your family just to look for him and then it looks like you fought on the road before we saw you," He ejaculated quickly to her.

"Thank You for that and Thank you for helping me to see and talk to Memphis," Fleur still forcing her smile.

"You gotta go inside now," Andrei said "It's already night, I need to go in the village hall to supervise the curfew hour. You might have more sleep and rest until Memphis and you could talk," He added.

"Okay," She answer, "Thank you again and take care of your work," She said and turn around and go inside the house.

Andrei looked after her if she is inside before he turned his back and walk his way through the village hall, He sees Mr. Paz and some of the village guards there.

"Andrei? How's Fleur?!" Mr. Paz asks.

"She's clean and rinse now, Hahaha!" Andrei makes a joke on it.

Mr. Paz laughed at him too, "Hahaha, if that so your friend won't take her back to you," They making jokes about her but deep to them they care about how Fleur and Memphis could see each other without them getting hurt.
