Adonis's POV I glance at Theo as he sit there a little away from me with his full concentration on his sketch book. He hasn't even tilted his head once or looked at me after we sat down to draw the portrait of the grazing herd of deer, far away. We are again at an open field and after having a late lunch here, Mr Alberty instructed us to sit down and sketch the sight in front of us. It's not just that Theo is so much concentrated on his work that he isn't looking at me. Things kind of turned awkward between us after I picked him up from the canoe earlier. I couldn't help it, I happened to stare into his eyes for a few seconds and he is now confused. He hasn't really talked to me after that. He was completely silent during the five minutes walk from the river bank upto here. I too felt nervous that I didn't talk. Then we sat together with the others for having lunch. So, we couldn't talk anything then. After that we were told to sit and draw, and so, here we are, silently sitting be
1 week later Adonis's POV "Ah Finally! I found it! Yes!" I leave a sigh and lie back on my bed, staring at the attractive comic book cover on my phone screen. The cover features a beautiful blonde girl in the middle of two identical twin guys, their only difference in the colour of their hair. One has blonde hair and the other is a brunette. "Double Trouble," I read the name aloud. "And it's the last one." It's the last of Theo's comic books. I finished reading all four of Green peas's other comic books in the last one week. Each one was available on a different site and this one 'Double Trouble' was especially hard to find. Anyway, finally I found it. But I don't know what I will do after finishing this one. He has drawn only five comic books and the sixth one 'Rainy Days' is ongoing. It's upcoming chapter will be available only next Wednesday. What will I do until then? Anyway, let's start this one now. It looks fun. As I'm about to open the first chapter, my phone rings sho
Theodore's POV I stand in front of the floor length mirror propped up against the wall in my bed room, staring awkwardly at my own reflection. Sure, I look presentable enough. Except for the little dark circles underneath my eyes, everything looks fine, but I still feel nervous as hell. Leaving a sigh, I grab my coat off my computer chair, slipping into it. After making sure my phone and wallet are tucked carefully away in my coat pocket, I sling my bag on my shoulder and leave my room, closing the door behind shut. Walking down the stairs towards the living room, I hear the sound of my Dad talking to someone in a reassuring business sort of way. He was sitting, leaning against the couch, dressed in his crisp black suit, his new iPhone 15 Pro Max in his grasp as he chatted during what was no doubt a business call. He glances up at me as I walk towards the front door and totally surprises me by saying, "Sam, I'll have to give you a call later. My son's getting ready to go out." I
Adonis's POV "Oh wow! This is great!" I utter looking at my phone screen. "What is great?" Adrien asks and peeks at my phone. "Manga?? When did you start reading Manga?" "I read it sometimes," I say. "Wow! Dude, are you smiling? Why are you so happy suddenly?" He laughs, swallowing the food in his mouth. "My favourite artist announced their new manga! First chapter will be released next Friday!" I can't help the enthusiasm in my voice and Adrien stares at me with a frown creasing his features. "What?" I ask, starting to munch on my sandwich. "You get this happy over a manga?" He asks. "Cause it's Green peas, my favourite artist," I mumble. "Green peas?? That's their name? You know them personally?" "No!" "Really?" He looks at me suspiciously. "You were looking so down until now and suddenly you cheered up. Something's fishy." I leave a dramatic sigh and take a sip of my coffee, ignoring him. I'm so happy Theo's first manga is going to be released soon. And that means, he
Theodore's POV "Hey, whom are you buying that for?" Sana asks me as I pick up a chocolate box from the local sweet shop on our way down to the bus stop. Today I got my first sallery from the bookshop, so I treated Sana to a meal and then when I noticed this sweet shop, I thought to buy my sisters something. I already got a picture storybook from the bookshop for my youngest sister. "For my sisters," I turn and smile at Sana. "Aww..you really are a sweet brother. How many sisters have you got?" "Two little sisters. One is thirteen and the other is six." "Oh..you're a big brother? That's cute," she says. After I pay for the chocolate box, we together walk down the street towards the bus stop. "How do you know those guys from Cypress Boys?" I then ask her. I had thought to ask her about it during lunch but then she was telling me about her experience as a waitress at a cafe and I couldn't touch the topic. "You mean Adrien and Adonis?" "Yeah.." I nod. "They both are famous at o
Adonis's POV For the first time, I don't feel any happiness standing next to our coach in the middle of the team with a huge trophy clasped in my hands, posing for the camera. I didn't really play well or contribute much to the game but still we won because we got some excellent players on the team. Throughout the game I was distracted. I kept looking for Theo among the crowd during the whole first quater that even our coach noticed and scolded me heavily during the short break at the end of first quater. Just as the second quarter began, I saw the girl, Sana coming hurrying down the blazers and taking a seat at the front. But Theo wasn't with her. Still, for a little while, I desperately continued searching the crowd, hoping to see forest green eyes somewhere. But he never came. Adrien goes to talk to the girl once our photo section is over. For a moment, I think about going to them and asking Sana what happened to Theo. But then I decide not to. I don't want to give her and my be
Adonis's POV I drag open the door to see the sight of Theo fast asleep on his large white bed, a white duvet covering his body upto his stomach, revealing his right hand held tight against his chest in a white plaster cast. The sight was at once distressing but also dainty. He looked like a fragile little creature, lying there in the middle of the huge king sized bed, looking totally vulnerable. Gently closing the door behind, I quietly walk towards him and stare at his face, slowly sitting down on the edge of the bed. Although he still looked beautiful, his delicate pale face clearly revealed distress and weakness. He looked extremely tired and troubled, unlike how he looked totally peacefull, sleeping on the hotel bed during our camp. "Theo.." I call him softly. He hums to me, still in sleep. "Little one.." I say and touch his cheeks. His face was hot against my fingers. I press my palm on his forehead and he was literally burning. "Gosh! What happened to you little one?" He su
Theodore's POV "Are you feeling any better now?" Adonis asks me with concern, sitting beside me and gently brushing his fingers through my hair. I nod to him, and he slowly withdraws his hand after removing a few of my locks from my forehead. Then he adjusts the pillow under my head and pulls my blanket up a bit more. "Go to sleep. You'll feel better," he says and gently pats my cheek as I stare at him. He hasn't said anything about the kiss yet. Maybe it's normal for him to kiss people like that. But it's not normal for me. And I don't know what to expect from him next! "Are you leaving?" I ask him. "No, I'm only leaving after feeding you lunch. Don't worry, I'll be here when you wake up," he says. I look at him confused. "Why'd you do that?" "Because I want to take care of you?" He says. "So, are you planning to come again soon?" I ask. "Yeah, I'll come tomorrow morning," he replies, nonchalantly. I couldn't help but frown at him in surprise. "Why? You don't want me to come?
