Meeting Alpha Raze

AMBER

I had my hand to my mouth the minute I sensed he heard the sound from a broken branch.

I felt my heart beating so fast the moment I realized he wasn’t alone.

And it wasn’t long before a bunch of male wolves joined him as well.

The Border to another territory…

I guess they had heard the sound about a while ago.

I had gotten into another territory filled with male wolves who seemed like they were ever-ready to take down any trespassers.

I held my breath for a minute, hoping none of them had the power to sense a she-wolf from her heartbeat.

I crawled to the nearest tree which had lots and lots of shrubs.

And as soon I had myself hidden, I had my head raised trying to see if they had given up finding me.

But instead, they tripled.

I stayed as quiet as possible, hoping not to be found as I couldn’t tell my fate with these men by just having to see them here.

As I felt too exhausted from holding my breath, I exhaled.

And then, one of them had gotten the sound of the beat of my heart.

“She’s here,” he said, still trying to keep track of the sound of my heart.

I knew my instincts were never wrong, one out of ten would have such power.

“A she?” The other male wolves echoed.

I suddenly wondered why they looked so surprised, were there no female wolves in their pack?

I needed to leave, but I just couldn’t.

If I was to move an inch from where I had myself curled up, I would get caught.

I had my eyes for some minutes before finally having them open.

And as I did, I heard their footsteps coming my way.

I guess another had gotten my scent.

I suddenly thought of a plan to get away as being a part of another pack right after getting captured was never part of my agenda.

I didn’t leave my pack to randomly bump into another pack and become a part of them.

“We know you are in there!!” One of the male wolves yelled.

“You could just save us all the stress and do us the honor of revealing yourself,” another male wolf said.

And how the hell was I to do that when I couldn’t decide what my fate would turn out to be if they caught me here?

“You are wasting a lot of time already little wolf” another voice came in.

And from the way he spoke, it seemed to me like he was the leader of their pack.

Feeling exhausted from all the breath-holding and hiding, I decided.

I slowly came out from behind the bushes where I had been hiding.

They all stared at me in amazement like they had seen a ghost.

“A she-wolf?” The man I suspected was their leader said, as he got a closer look at me.

I looked up at him to find him staring for a long as he had never seen she wolf in years.

He had these beautiful green eyes, and I surprisingly couldn’t take my eyes off them.

“Grab her” he ordered, but in a preferably sweet tone.

They had me taken away in their van, and I was shocked they had me taken without handcuffs or chains on my hand.

“I’m Alpha Raze Von Miller,” he said looking out the window as he spoke.

Such a long name for a fine young man… I thought to myself.

“And this is the NightWalker pack,” he said as we approached a giant gate.

I suddenly wondered why they had their gates and fences built so high up.

Probably for defense then…

As we drove in, I watched how traders went about their daily businesses.

And loved how the children ran around the marketplaces playing around.

It was a small town with a few people.

The population here was nothing compared to Wolfbane's pack.

“Help her get off” he ordered a guard.

Back at Wolfbane Pack, Omegas were meant to do stuff themselves and not have people help them out with any.

But here it seemed a little different as everyone here was treated with so much equality, that I couldn’t tell the Alpha female wolves from the Omega wolves.

“Come with me” Alpha Raze ordered as I followed suit from behind.

I was suddenly wishing they didn't have me locked up in a cold cell like the Omegas back at our pack.

They were treated more like slaves back at Wolfbane Pack.

The online that had me saved was that I was the daughter of the Alpha male of the Wolfbane pack.

But it still didn’t change the fact that he always had me abused, most especially with words I would consider not appropriate.

We had gotten into what looked like a chamber that housed so many other chambers.

“Where do you hail from?” He asked.

“Wolfbane,” I said, hoping they had not in one way or the other been into any fight with themselves.

“Rings a bell,” he said as he tossed his chair around.

“Family?” He asked.

I suddenly wondered why the sudden interrogations.

“Yes,” I stuttered.

“Well that aside, come with me” he ordered standing up to his feet as he had me taken into what looked like an arena.

A training hall…

I wondered why he had me brought to his training hall on the very first day of my arrival to his pack.

“Pick that up” he ordered pointing at the rod that was right beside me.

I bent down to pick it up when my wolf sense got something coming towards me.

But I was too weak to move a muscle in dodging whatever was coming my way.

I fell to the ground the minute it hit me, as my shapeshifter's eyes suddenly glowed bright steel blue.

I had it closed the minute I realized something was off.

“No way,” he said, looking surprised.

“You are…”

AMBER

I saw the smile that came up on his face when he realized I was an Omega.

And I sort of found that so odd, having him find out this way.

Not that I was going to let him know anyway.

Unlike the day my father found out about my weak wolf, he had me locked up the whole day as I was deprived of food and a change of clothes for the whole of that day.

“Why do you seem so excited?” I asked as I had my head lowered.

Omegas were always meant to have their heads bowed when speaking to Alphas.

And the next thing I knew, the other pack members trooped in as they rejoiced.

I guess they had been watching from a distance, right from the moment we walked into the training courtroom.

“A blessing has come to stay,” the older men yelled as they danced.

“The Moon Goddess has suddenly remembered us” they yelled.

“A blessing?” I asked, looking confused about what was happening.

“Omegas were blessings to packs by the moon goddess as they can replace the mates of the wolves that were lost or didn't have a mate”

I couldn't believe I was hearing them right.

Did they just say a blessing from the moon goddess?

But why wasn't it so for the other packs?

Everything about this place sure seemed completely different and somewhat strange.

How was it they had the omegas placed on a high hierarchy and it was never so in other packs?

They were treated like trash in other packs, surprisingly.

“And for years we haven’t had any Omega drops in our pack,” another man said.

“But now that you are here, we will rejoice all night for the blessing given to us by the moon goddess,” one of the elders said.

After about an hour of the pack members rejoicing, I was left in the hands of Alpha Raza.

I liked how well-cultured his garden was, and I was loving the environment around his chambers.

I looked down the stairs to find the kids of his staff running around the palace.

In my father's house back at Wolfbane Pack, kids were never allowed to come into the premises of the pack house and not to mention having them running around.

I loved it here already.

And with all I'd seen here, there wasn't any hope of me returning to my pack house as this suddenly felt like home.

“Come with me, I will show you to your chambers,” Alpha Raza said, stretching forth his hand as he held on to mine.

I had never in my life gotten into close contact with any man, as this happened to be the first time a man would be holding onto my hand.

As we approached the hallway leading to my chambers as he had said.

I saw several portraits of what seemed like a hierarchy of the old generation and down to his.

And I found beautiful portraits of ancient art.

I loved the view…

We had gotten to my chambers in no time, as he had opened it up.

The first thing that caught my attention was the balcony, it was more like it had the best view in the whole of his packhouse.

I had my eyes closed as the wind that blew past touched every part of my skin.

Making me feel so completely relaxed.

And that was when it hit me.

Peace…

“You like it here?” he asked looking into my eyes as he smiled.

He had this sparkle in his eyes whenever he smiled and I just couldn't help but admire his genuine smile.

And I suddenly wondered why my heart started beating fast the minute he came close.

Why in the world is my heart beating this fast? I asked myself.

He was right in front of me.

“You’d make a perfect Luna,” he said as he had my hair tossed to the back of my ear.

I could feel my cheeks suddenly go red as I looked away from him.

And was probably hoping he didn't see the red dot that came on my face.

I have never had a mate all my life, not to mention having an Omega for a mate.

Hearing me ask for me to be his Luna, wasn't going to be an easy task.

And it sort of makes me scared, knowing Luna came with lots and lots of responsibilities.

One of which includes me being stronger than ever.

But how was I to achieve that, when I was a weak wolf?

One who got hit by a rod just because her instincts were right but I just wasn't strong enough to fight back.

It was at a point cool knowing I wasn't of the ordinary, and I had that confirmed back at the fighting arena.

With a little more effort and consistent practice I would be back on track.

Those were the same words Alpha Raza had said back at the training court, probably trying to encourage me.

“What's wrong?” he asked, noticing I had wandered off in thoughts.

“Uhnnn nothing at all,” I said.

Staring into his eyes I contemplated whether or not to tell him about my past.

And the main reason I was banished away from my pack.

“So what's your response?” he asked obviously about me being his Luna or not.

I had been banished from my pack just because I couldn't accept being a surrogate mate, to someone I felt was not a match for my weak Wolf.

But this right here suddenly felt different, as my wolf couldn't help but tell from within itself.

Would it be foolish or wise to have to accept being a surrogate mate to someone my wolf surprisingly yearns for?

“Yes!!!”

“Yes!!” my wolf kept on yelling.

And then I finally voiced out…

“Yes, I accept,” I replied, trying hard not to blush.

I wondered why this suddenly felt like a good idea.

Probably…

Or not…

An omega!!!...
