Not my mate 2

AMBER

“What did you just say?” My father asked.

I jerked the minute I heard him ask, as I saw the surprised look on the faces of the elders that sat around him.

“Dear child, do you mind repeating what you had just said a while ago?” One of the elders asked.

I was suddenly short on words as I contemplated whether or not to repeat what I had just said.

I looked into the eyes of my father as I saw the anger and rage he had.

And it was looking like he was going to pounce on me any moment from now if I don’t start talking.

I suddenly wondered if it was a good idea to come over to my dad’s and have him informed.

As it was seeming like I had made a bad choice coming.

“I…I said,” I stuttered, still not being able to find the right words to finally utter to them.

“Reeca happens to be teaming up with other rivalry packs to have them take over our pack” I voiced out as I rushed my words hoping they wouldn't ask for me to repeat myself.

And the next thing I knew, my father burst into loud laughter as the other elders of our pack joined in the laughter as well.

I felt embarrassed that the one good thing I could do that probably could count was sort of a joke to my father.

I suddenly wondered what they had heard that sounded so funny.

“I’m not lying Pa!!” I yelled.

“There you go again,” My father said, clapping his hands.

“Seeking the attention you don’t deserve,” he said with an evil smirk on.

I suddenly wondered why he hated me this much.

I was his flesh and blood, but he never cared about that.

All he cared about was the betterment of the pack and power.

Nothing else…

“You are going nuts child,” another elder said as I met eyes with that of my father's. Who was staring at me with so much disdain?

“If you are seeking attention so bad, go get some from your Mate and stop wasting your time trying to get mine,” my father said.

“You had better put yourself to good use, by sealing up your bond with your mate. Thereby making out pack even stronger than ever” he said.

Well, so he thought anyway.

I felt so hurt hearing him say that, as I had predicted from the very beginning, and knew for a fact that he wasn't going to hear me out.

And with him not having to, it meant the doom of our pack in the hands of our enemies.

My father happened to be making the biggest mistake of his life without him even knowing.

And that was so unfortunate.

I had slowly given up on talking him out of it, as they had been completely brainwashed by Reeca.

What they all taught was also after the betterment of the pack.

My father had me dismissed right after they had made me so embarrassed in front of the elders of our pack.

And I have never been more embarrassed.

I was led out by my father's guard, who had always been by him from the day I was born.

And had always been a loyal guard.

I got out of the pack house to find Reece by the car smiling at me.

I froze the minute I saw him come out of the car.

I guess my dad had placed a call to him, letting him know I had been here on his behalf.

“Nice try” he said as he had an evil smirk.

“Get into the car,” he ordered.

Without relenting, I hurried off into the car and was hoping he wouldn’t end up having me dealt with.

The drive back to his house was silent, as I had nothing to explain concerning what I had gone home to do.

“You overheard us last night right?” He asked, looking straight into my eyes.

I looked away not wanting for him to tell if I was lying or not from just looking at my face.

As I wasn’t sure what his wolf powers were yet.

I gave a nod in disagreement with what he had just asked.

And was hoping he would believe me without asking more questions.

“Lier!!!” He yelled.

Anyways it's a good thing they didn’t believe you.

You were just one step to ruining my plans with having your father’s pack finally taken to its rightful owners.

“Did you just say rightful owners?” I yelled wanting to make sure I heard him correctly.

“As soon as your father has me sworn in as his successor,” He said.

“We strike!!” He yelled as he laughed out so loud.

What the hell?… I muttered to myself.

Wondering how someone could be so desperate in gaining more power than he should be having.

“I’m actually not the crazy one here but you are” I said almost in tears as I tried fighting back the tears.

There wasn’t any use crying in front of him anyway, he was cold and heartless.

“I actually did love having your father around anyway” he said smiling to me.

“Why the hell are you using the past word “did”?” I asked, feeling curious about what he planned on doing to my father.

Not that I cared that much, but he was my father anyway.

So definitely I would care a bit.

We had pulled over at the garage of his house, as I admired how neatly packed his cars were.

But that didn’t change the fact that he was a meanie and a forged mate.

All I saw in him was him just wanting to gain power.

And I could tell from his actions that he wasn’t going to stop until he had so many packs under him and finally being their successors right after getting mated go thei daughters.

All for Power…

AMBER

The day finally came as we were all gathered in the pack house waiting for the ceremony to kick start.

I stared at him in disgust across the room, as he sat with his hands placed on the table.

I noticed that was his favorite sitting position.

As I saw him put on an evil smirk like he had won it all.

But this wasn’t the end anyways. I thought to myself.

Soon afterward the ceremony kicked start as everyone stood cheering them on.

"To us!" Father yells proudly, raising his glass in the air.

"To us!" Everyone chorus, clicking their glasses with themselves.

I wasn’t so much of a fan of having to throw a party for a common thing that we could just say with our lips.

I stood right next to my father, who from the look he had on wasn’t so happy seeing me around him.

I watched how happy everyone looked in the room.

Without any of them having to know a single thing they had gotten themselves into.

Afterward, the part where I had to hold hands with my newly mated wolf.

Whom I was forced to be mated with.

I tried fighting back tears that welled up in my eyes, but I couldn't hold them back as I let them roll down my cheeks.

The pack I once knew to be strong, now seemed weak and already taken right before my very eyes.

How could my father allow this to happen? I thought to myself.

The minute he held onto my hand, I flinched.

My father had his eyes wide open the moment he realized what I had just done.

“What are you doing?” he whispered, leaning forward to me and probably wondering what had gone wrong.

He held on to my hand for the second time wanting to join our hands together.

But for the second time, I flinched.

All I had in mind was the safety of the pack, but still, no one believed me.

Not even my father.

“You are his mate whether you like it or not,” My father said, tightening his grip on my wrist, not minding the fact that he was hurting already.

“So stop this and let's have this finally sealed,” he said in a very harsh tone.

I saw how Reece suddenly brightened up his face with a smile, seeing that my father was completely on his side.

“I don't want him as my mate” I yelled, calling the attention of the other persons that had come to join the party.

“I can't be mates to a traitor,” I said, wiping off the tears that were rolling down my cheeks.

“Don't you dare” my father said, raising his hands in the air like he had wanted to make me regret every word I was saying.

“I reject you Alpha Reece” I yelled.

“I can't let you take over what's rightfully ours,” I said.

“What has come over you child?” one of the elders from our pack who had been watching at a close range.

“Father please” I begged.

My father stared at me with so much rage in his eyes and it suddenly felt as though he was going to have my head chopped off and fed to the hyenas.

I knew this was finally going to be my end as the only Omega wolf to my father.

Finally, a way he could get rid of me.

“For just this once that you could make yourself useful, you blew it all into thin air” my father said letting go off my wrist.

“I have never been more disgusted with what you have just done” he said looking so disappointed.

“And for that I’m left with no choice but to have you banished from my pack” he said.

I froze the moment I heard him say the words “banish”.

How was it that my own father had me barnished from my home.

“Now leave” he yelled.

The minute he came close pushing me off, I immediately had a rethink on accepting both their offers.

“Guards!!!” my father yelled.

I jerked when I saw how angry he looked.

I went straight down on my knees begging and pleading hoping he would listen.

“Guards!! Don't just stand there have her thrown out” he ordered.

Reece seemed really upset about a while ago with what I did as he walked out on us.

Probably not being able to stand the shame I had caused him right in front of the whole pack.

I was dragged out of the pack house without even the grace of picking up my stuff.

“Move it” the guard who held onto my arm pulled me out.

I saw the sad look on the faces of the people that stood by watching, as some of them looked completely like I actually deserved every treatment I was getting.

We had gotten to the woods demarcating our rivalry pack from us when I realized how dark it looked even during the day.

I closed my eyes, wishing it was all a nightmare but apparently it wasn’t.

It was reality playing right in front of me.

I stood looking into the woods for what seemed like a minute before finally taking the bold step.

I gave a last look at my father who looked so angry as he stood by watching.

Everyone stood there watching as I ventured into the wild forest, without a clue on where I was headed.

But all I suddenly wanted was to get away from the pack which had rejected me.

Walking into the woods, I felt so scared as I imagined being eaten by a stray wolf.

I had my hand wrapped around my chest as I went through the bushes.

I was so engrossed in my thoughts of wanting to get away without realizing I was headed for a dead trap.

As I stepped forward, I stepped on what seemed like an alarm as it kept on screaming.

I bent to the ground, wondering if anyone else had heard the sound as well.

As I did that,

“Krrrh” I stepped on a tree branch.

“Who’s there?” A man yelled from behind the bushes.

Fuck!!!…

Psycho!!!
