Se connecterEiran glanced around picking up his spoon and noticed Knight being confessed once more.
It must be annoying to be confessed like that. Eiran started eating while he watched Knight walking away as before. He still listens to them until the end.
From the first day at the school Knight became the centre of his attention. He was always stealing glances of him and strangely at times Knight would be already looking at him. And sometimes Eiran felt him gazing at Eiran but the moment Eiran would look at him he quickly averted his gaze.
Eiran would sit down on the stairs and watch boys playing tennis. The reason was no one else but Knight.
He never talks to anyone but when he is playing sports he feels like a real extrovert. Eiran’s eyes were fixed at him.
His long hair was waved with swift motions, sweat dripped from his face and his shirt stuck to his refined muscles. Eiran’s heart started thumping hard and he stood up quickly walking away.
He stepped into home, “I am home.”
He greeted the empty house. That was also the reason he did not want to come home earlier and watched Knight play before heading home.
All he did at home was to watch cartoons and animations and his room had traces of them. Figurines and posters on his walls reflected his interest. Except the dreamcatcher at the door that looked out of place in the room.
He settled down at his table after taking a shower. Knight’s hair swinging in the air came to his mind and his heart started pounding once again.
He looked at the mirror in front of him. “Shit! I’m all red.”
Do I look like this in school too? He thought, placing his hands at his cheeks. But again he doesn’t even pay attention to others.
He leaned back. “But how could he get confessed two to three times every day.” He shuffled. “I mean I get confessed too but not like that. His admirers from other schools are always waiting outside the school.”
They already know he will not accept it then why don’t they give up? He was genuinely confused.

Knight entered his house and noticed his father sitting at the Sofa.
“Greetings father,” he greeted before walking upstairs.
He noticed his brother Bright climbing out of the basement stairs covered in blood. Their eyes met and Knight gulped before quickly going upstairs. He closed the door behind him and shut his eyes taking uneven breaths.
Did brother do a mistake? He settled on the edge of his bed. His hands were trembling. “What job did father give him?”
Victor wasn’t their biological father. He adopted two sons to take over the gang in future. Neither were two brothers biologically related.
Victor took over his father’s gang Likvidators after his death.
Knight turned to look at the picture on the wall. Bright was giving Knight a backhug holding flowers that he received on his graduation. Bright had a full smile that was wiped off his face in a few hours. Everything rushed through Knight’s head.
FLASHBACK
“Wow it came out really well you are looking so handsome brother,” ten years old Knight smiled warmly holding the picture they just took on Bright’s middle school graduation.
Bright ruffled Knight’s hair. “Let’s go or else we will be late.”
Victor had made some rules and he warned them if they break any they will be punished. Up until now they never broke any rules. One of those rules were to get home at time.
They had witnessed Victor coming out of the basement stained with blood. The gang members always dragged people to the basement only to get out of there severely injured or disappearing completely. But they had an idea to some extent that the heavy bags coming out of the basement were nothing else but human remains although they never witnessed anything. They never dared to go against the rules.
Knight had been glancing at the kids eating ice cream for a while now.
“Wanna eat ice cream?” Bright stopped walking and took out his wallet. “Here, buy one.”
“But we will get late, there is still a line.” Knight looked up at him who was taller than him.
“It’s okay, let’s run home after that.”
“Okay then I will try to come quick.” Knight ran across the street to buy an ice cream.
He had no choice but to quickly chug down the freezing ice cream before they sprinted to the house. When they entered the house they were completely out of breath. They looked at each other and giggled but their smiles vanished at the sight of Victor who was sitting in the living room on the sofa.
“You are seventeen minutes late,” Victor voice was cold.
“Greetings father.” Both of them bowed and bright stole a glance at the watch on the wall.
“Since you broke the rule, you must get punished.” Victor lit his cigar. “Now tell me who made the mistake?”
Bright held onto Knight’s hand slightly moving forward and hiding him behind. “It’s my fault.”
Victor smirked. “Alright. Both of you, come to the basement.”
The pairs sat facing each other because they had to draw sketches of each other. Eiran still stayed silent but the moment he looked up at Knight his heart would start racing. He tried not to look at him for a while.“You hate the idea of pairing up with me?” Knight asked.“Huh?” Eiran got flustered. He talked to me!“Wh…why do you say so?” He stuttered. Speak properly Eiran you are embarrassing me.“Cause you didn’t even talk to me.”“That’s because you don’t talk to others. I thought you might not like it.” Eiran still couldn’t look up at him for more than two seconds. He is looking at me with those eyes.“Are you good at drawing?” Knight started sketching.“No. I am terrible at drawing. Sorry. What about you?”“I’m pretty good. One of my hobbies is drawing and painting.” He was focused on the canvas and Eiran looked at him.He looks more handsome. It’s my first time looking at him this close. “Most of the paintings in the school gallery are mine.” Knight looked up and Eiran quickly
One of the Rules were to never bring anyone home or give them the address.“Did you know about it?” Victor looked at Bright.“I……. I did not.” Bright hesitated. If Father finds out he is lying, both of us will get punished. We can’t make another mistake.“Okay you can go back to your room." Victor stood up. "You come with me.” He gestured Knight to follow him to the basement.Bright’s already thumping heart started pounding so hard that he felt suffocated. He saw them both walking down the stairs. He was reminded of the event that happened at their first mistake. He gulped and walked upstairs.“Sophie, line them up.” Victor gestured to the six severely beaten men. He took the gun and loaded it before he slid it over the table to the twelve year old Knight. He sat back and stared at Knight looking at the gun intently.Knight looked at Victor underlings lining six men in the kneeling position next to each other but they were barely in their right minds. They struggled to sit even straig
Then Bright cupped Knight’s head in his hands. "We shouldn’t be this close or else father will use our affections against each other.” He closed the kit. "That’s why I am going to keep distance between us.”He sounded cold but Knight noticed his eyes twitching.“Give me your phone.” Bright asked and he handed it to him after taking it out of his drawer.“Here,” Bright returned it, articles floating over the screen. "Keep learning about these articles. Don’t talk to anyone about it, it’s just to protect you.”“Am I allowed to read it? It’s not for kids.” He scrolled through articles.“That’s why don’t talk to anyone about it. But you need to have information to protect yourself.” He cupped his cheek. “From now on you are on your own. Don’t hesitate to learn anything that will protect you.”It was too much for Knight to understand but soon he noticed the two of them drifting apart. They talked less and less and over time they barely saw each other.Knight has been going through online a
Knight’s hands started trembling and Bright tightened his grip on his hand before following Victor to the basement. The basement was nothing but a hall with pillars in it. Victor underlings were stationed inside while a man in forties to fifties sat kneeling on the floor. He was badly beaten with bluish bruises all over his face. His skin was raptured and his white shirt underneath black coat was covered in blood.Knight hugged bright arm as they walked closer to the table set beside a pair of sofas.Victor grabbed a gun placed in the table's drawer and loaded it before handing it to Bright. “You just need to point this at him and pull the trigger.” Victor gestured to the injured man.“Please spare me, please don’t kill me,” the man started begging.Bright didn’t grab the gun and just stood there while Knight hid behind him.Victor placed the gun onto the table and slid it towards Bright. "Do it.”Bright looked down and clasped his hands in front of him. “Father we won’t make another

Tomorrow was the weekend and Eiran slept in before heading for his appointment in the afternoon.“Is it possible for a bond to break even if one of them still has feelings?” Eiran looked at Uriah.“It is possible since one no longer has feelings for the other there is less chance of this happening." Uriah looked lost as he saw Eiran’s face.“And what if the one who has feelings tries his best to suppress his feelings?”“It’s about the connection between the two bodies and emotional flow through that connection. If there are no emotions being delivered then yes it’s possible.” Uriah placed his hand beneath his chin. “But in such a moment one is bound to lose control over their emotions. And pheromones in that moment deliver the emotions. So as I have said multiple times it’s almost impossible.”He looked at Eiran contemplating. “Why are you asking? Do you have any feelings remaining?”“Not at all.” Eiran looked flustered. “I just don’t believe that bastard. I don’t want to get swept up
