CHAPTER 10

 

LUCIANA MILANO

 

“ you won’t fucking believe who I just saw right now” Lynn yelled as she walked into my apartment with Ophelia walking behind her. Once she saw him standing against the counter her face lit up like a Christmas tree. She ran and jumped on top of me wrapping her small legs around my waist and burying her face in my neck

 

“ hey mama, I missed you” she whispered, I kissed her head as I replied “ hey baba, I missed you as well, how was school?” I asked her as I placed her down on the floor and taking out her bag that was hanging on her shoulders. “I made a new fweind today” she said with a big smile, I smiled as I kissed her cheeks which made her giggle. “that’s good baby, why don’t you go and freshen up while I made something for you too eat” she nodded her head as she walked out of the kitchen towards her bedroom.

 

I turned my attention to Lynn as I saw her standing near the fridge.

 

I folded my arms as I stood opposite the fridge watching how she just stares at me with a shocked impression.

 

“are you going to speak or just stand there like you have seen a ghost?” I asked. She opened her mouth to speak and what she said next got me frozen on the spot.

 

“I saw Ares today at Ophelia’s school and he kinda saw me with Ophelia.. Well actually he spoke to Ophelia…” she rushed but I couldn’t understand what she was trying to say. What did she mean by he spoke to Ophelia, he doesn’t know Ophelia.

 

“woah woah calm down and just tell me everything, what did you mean by he spoke to Ophelia how does he know her and secondly did he see you with her because he would probably remember you from that night” I finished off and waited for Lynn to continue her story about how she was accidentally a little late to fetch Olly and Are just happened to be there to fetch his niece and nephew and he saw Olly waiting alone so he was with her until Lynn came.

 

A part of me was grateful for Ares and the other part was scared that he would find out the truth.

 

“why don’t you just tell him?” she asked in a soft voice, I shook my head and walked towards the stove to heat up Olly Mac and cheese “ I can’t, what would he think of me after he finds out that I’m a single mother” I said as I dished out some Mac and cheese into a bowl.

 

“he isn’t going to think anything bad babe, I saw the way he looked at Ophelia, he really likes children and he isn’t going to think you are a horrible single mother and if he does think that then fuck him” she finished off and I chuckled as I engulfed her into a hug.

 

“what would I do without you Lynn?” I whispered, she tightened the hug as she whispered back “ you are a wonder mum Luci, you just need me to guide you to the right path, the rest is your doing but I’m always going to be there for you no matter what..”

 

“I love you bestie” I closed my eyes smiling and thanking God above me for sending down an angel known as Lynn Rose.

Ares have been driving for the pass 45 minutes and he hasn't said a word where we are going, whenever I asked him all he said that it's a surprise and to trust him.     CHAPTER 22LUCIANA MILANOI get my breathing in check as I walk towards my white cupboard, I ran my hands through all the clothes in i have hanging in color co-ordination. I want something drop dead gorgeous but also something simply, something that would impressive him. The look he gave me before I want him to look at me the same so that's why I put on my matching black lace bra and panty, and I pull my fishnet stockings over my legs and let it sit over my stomach, I grabbed a black dress that stops at my mid thigh and I put on my black coat since it's still a it chilling outside.
