CHAPTER 23

 “So what have you decided to do with Elysian?” Adrian asked Lorcan as if asking for his opinion upon the matter of Elysian. He didn’t bother to give his answer so easily and got up to avoid any eye contact with others and made his way to the card catalog and took out another bottle of whiskey and gulped it down in one shot, soon the toxication of alcohol took over him and he stumbled, that made everyone leave their position to help him stand straight. But he stopped them with the gesture of his hand, “Stop there, you know, just a bottle of whiskey can’t make me drunk, I’m alright.” He said and Vincent smirked knowing his friend well that he is not a good drinker and he had already finished four-bottles of Johnnie Walker, there will be only one more shot and he is down, still, he is convincing them that he is alright.
