Episode 40

Anna's POV

My head snapped back to bravely glare at him. He seemed amused and unfazed and one corner of his mouth lifted up. I loathed how he could make my stomach flip even with the slightest move he made. It was so infuriating.

"Can you stop playing games with me? I don't have time for all this, just let me go" I spat with much venom I could gather.

"Are you sure you want that?" His enchanting husky voice sounded closer as he took a few more steps. "My dear Anna" He whispered in my ear- his breath sending shivers down my spine.

He got closer and forced my back against the glass windows. I tried to move away but he reached out and flattened both of his palms against the glass, imprisoning me between his hands. " No matter what you do Anna, I don't want to ever let you go" He whispered.

"Go and say that to Jessica" I snarled.

He paused. "Are you jealous?"

"Why would I be jealous? I don't even like you " I challenged. I hoped he believed it because that sounded fake even to my own ears
