I was left in silence after that, my mind slowly processed what he just said. He needed to take any action, he wouldn't let this one go.
"D-does that mean..." Before I could even complete my sentence, the door of his office opened again and when I glance in its direction, Mirna was standing there with four policemen by her side. She looked at Caleb first and then at me, her eyes lost all their emotion when they met mine. "Officer, please, take her." The men with her didn't need to be told twice, they immediately walked in my direction to hold me.
