“You look miserable,” Rage spoke, walking in. I didn't talk, just stared. He didn't waste his time on me; he moved.

“Don't just sit there, come and help me!” he said, walking out. I gathered every piece of energy left in me and walked out. My eyes ached, and so did my muscles.

I found his workers digging holes while he supervised them—not big, too small to fit a small-sized ball. I wondered what was in the mind of Rage this time.

For his house, a string of electricity was passed around. I knew it because I touched it when it passed me. But where was his right-hand man?

“Wait!” he commanded the men to stop.

“You can go in and rest. I'll take care of the remaining ones. Do not come out for your own safety,” he commanded. The workers seemed relieved, and from their facial expressions, you could tell they were used to it.

For a hunter, he had so many enemies. I could only imagine how many times his house had been raided.

“Come!” he commanded, and I started walking.

He stood fiercely, holding an arrow in his hand, ready to shoot. His distrust for me grew stronger—I could feel it. But how would I explain to him what exactly was going on?“You didn't invite me to the party, or was it a private one?” Rage spoke. Lucious growled in pain and struggled to stand in the cell.“It was a meeting with mates. Since you're not one, we didn't see fit to invite you,” Lucious said. His words bored me.“So this is the reason you wanted him alive?” Rage asked. I couldn't tell if he was talking about the marking or just seeing me there with Lucious. Did he overhear us?“He couldn't help but come and feast her eyes on greatness,” Lucious mocked, which made Rage angrier, his hands reaching out for an arrow.“Stop!” I yelled to Lucious. He didn’t stop. He just laughed. Rage looked at me—death stare. I went to walk toward him, but so did he.“Is he threatening you?” he asked. I couldn't speak. I could tell he was looking for a reason to trust me, but I couldn't give hi

“Take them,” Rage's voice rose again. Damian didn’t waste a second grabbing me, while the rest restrained Lucious.“Take her slow,” Rage added as he entered the house. Damian reluctantly loosened his grip, giving me a brief moment of relief. My eyes stayed fixed on Lucious being dragged to the prison.Would I be placed in the same prison? What if he torments me again? Will he agree to undo his marking for freedom, or will he play smart?“Not her—him,” Rage said again. The toothpick in his mouth had been replaced with a cigar. The aroma of the smoke was choking, yet strangely pleasant.“What do I do with her?” Damian asked, tightening his grip once more.“Take her to my room,” Rage commanded. He didn’t look away from his parents’ portrait but still seemed to be aware of everything.“But Alpha—” Damian began, but was interrupted by an arrow that barely missed his head. Rage didn’t even flinch, his eyes now fixed on me.“The next time I speak and you give an opinion without being asked,

  • THE ALPHA BIKER'S BRIDE    Between rage and ruin

The night was calm. Wolves howled. It wasn’t normal—something in the air felt wrong. A dark aura lingered. Though locked up, I could see a battlefield marked by fire.I looked beyond what my eyes could manage. Rage stood shirtless, armed with nothing but arrows. His physique was something out of this world—his well-defined body stirred something inside me.“Get ready!” he commanded. His men stood still, surrounded by nothing but a circle of fire. They were in the center of it. Then came footsteps, and before I could react, they turned into a thudding march.“Rage, you fool!” Lucious yelled, but Rage just laughed. I tried to scan the place for him, but he was like a ghost—only his voice echoed in the darkness.“Stop howling and show me what you’ve got,” Rage said, chugging a bottle of water. His body gleamed with heat and oil. Gosh, I could have him for dessert after this.Suddenly, my mark grew painful. I knew Lucious was nearby. Angry. I could feel every emotion. Every heartbeat.“Ar

“Princess?” he asked, his mood suddenly shifting toward me while his men circled us.“I’m sorry,” I apologized, but his fury burst out.“That’s why you healed so fast!” he said, and I nodded.I could feel his desire to strangle me—or to let out his wolf—but he held it back. I could feel his wolf too, like it was abandoned.“It all makes sense now. Do you know what your parents did to me?” he growled.“I wasn’t born,” I cried out.“My parents devoted themselves to your family, risking their lives for yours, and what did they get in return?” he asked, but I could only stare in silence.“Betrayal,” he growled.“Your father killed mine and banished me and my poor mother from the land for no reason!” he yelled.“That’s not true,” I cried, but my voice was no match for his fury.“Not true? Then what’s true?” he asked.“My father was murdered by Kade, who also killed yours,” I cried, but it fell on deaf ears.He came to me and held me by my hair, my face pressed into his sweaty armpit.“Don’

He came outside to meet me while I was clearing the bushes, a toothpick always in his mouth. Except this time, he was dressed officially. His suit hugged his body perfectly. His curved facial features gave him a dangerous look. Two other men walked beside him, all looking ferocious. I tried keeping myself busy, slashing through the grass, but I wasn't used to this, so I struggled."Miss, what's your name?" he asked, the toothpick dancing between his lips."Nina," I said, my hair falling over my eyes."Fill her in," Rage said, and one of the men walked toward me. I didn't know him, but from his commanding presence, I could tell he was the Beta of the pack."Are you really sure you want to be free from the Bloodfang pack?" he asked. I nodded, a smirk of anticipation playing on my lips."You're willing to do anything?" he asked again. I nodded."Great," he said."Alpha, she has agreed to continue with the mating," he whispered. I was baffled."Good," Rage said casually, like it meant not
