Damon's POV

The tunnels of Paris were too quiet, My boots struck the stone floor, each step echoing against walls slick with blood, Torches flickered weakly, their flames struggling against the damp air, my wolf paced inside me, restless, snarling at shadows that seemed to breathe.

We had survived the ambush, but survival was not victory, my men limped behind me, blades dripping, eyes hollow, Rylan walked at my side, his jaw tight, his gaze scanning every corner.

Then it hit a sharp, tea

Damon’s POVThe alliance request from the Eastern Mountain territory stayed on my desk the entire night.By morning, three more letters had arrived.Rylan dropped the newest scrolls onto the table inside my office and looked annoyed already.“I officially hate politics.”I opened one of the letters calmly. “You hate responsibility.”“I hate both.”The newest requests were exactly what I expected.Alliance offers. Trade discussions. Formal invitations. Even requests to visit the territory. All because of Aria.Rylan leaned against the desk. “So what’s the plan?”I sealed the reply to the Eastern Mountain Alpha myself.“We accept the alliance meeting.”Rylan nodded slowly. “That’ll spread fast.”“I know.”“Other territories will start pushing harder now.”“They already are.”Before Rylan could answer, Maya knocked gently and entered respectfully.“Alpha Damon.”“What happened?”She hesitated slightly. “There’s… another problem.”Rylan groaned immediately. “Of course there is.”Maya look

  • THE ALPHA CHOOSE THE WRONG SISTER    Chapter Seventy Four – The World Starts Watching

Damon’s POVThree days passed peacefully after Aria trapped Dravenna and Malvora together again. The territory slowly returned to normal. Warriors resumed regular patrols, servants repaired the last damaged parts of the council wing, and the younger wolves finally stopped looking terrified every time Aria walked past them.Well… most of them stopped.Rumors were spreading fast now.Not only inside our territory, but outside it too.By the fourth morning, messages started arriving from nearby packs. Some came from Alphas asking questions. Others came from witches requesting information about Seraphina’s return. A few simply wanted confirmation that the prophecy rumors were true.Rylan walked into my office carrying another stack of letters and looked annoyed already.“If one more messenger arrives today, I’m throwing them into the forest.”I looked up from the reports on my desk. “How many now?”“Eight.”“That’s not terrible.”“One Alpha sent perfume with his letter.”I stared at him.

  • THE ALPHA CHOOSE THE WRONG SISTER    Chapter Seventy Three – The Vote

Damon’s POVDravenna and Malvora continued arguing inside the silver cage while everyone else in the council room watched with growing frustration.“You are impossible to tolerate,” Malvora snapped.“And you have the personality of a dying crow,” Dravenna replied immediately.“At least I don’t speak like a spoiled queen.”“I am a queen.”“That explains the attitude problem.”Rylan leaned back in his chair looking entertained. “Honestly, this is better than training.”Maya stood respectfully near Aria while trying not to laugh.Several warriors inside the room looked exhausted already.Damon finally rubbed his forehead. “Enough.”The room became quiet immediately.Even Dravenna and Malvora stopped talking for once.Damon stood slowly from his seat near the council table and looked around the room.“We can’t keep them locked inside that cage forever,” he said calmly. One elder immediately stood. “Then kill them.”Several others agreed immediately.“They’re too dangerous.”“Malvora nearl

  • THE ALPHA CHOOSE THE WRONG SISTER    Chapter Seventy Two– Rumors and Restlessness

Damon’s POVPeace inside the territory lasted exactly three days before rumors started spreading again. Not dangerous rumors. Just annoying ones.By the fourth morning, half the younger wolves were whispering about prophecy heirs, vampire royalty, ancient founders, and whether Aria could really trap powerful witches inside silver cages without effort.Rylan walked into my office looking exhausted already.“I need permission to start throwing people into walls.”I looked up from the reports on my desk. “Why?”“The trainees won’t stop talking.”“That sounds like your normal training sessions.”“This time they’re debating whether Aria is stronger than you.”I stayed quiet.Rylan blinked once. “You’re suspiciously calm about that.”“I don’t care.”“You absolutely care.”Before I answered, someone knocked on the office door.Maya entered carefully with fresh reports in her hands. The moment she saw me, she lowered her head respectfully.“Alpha Damon.”“What is it?”“The kitchen staff is as

  • THE ALPHA CHOOSE THE WRONG SISTER    Chapter Seventy One – A Calm Evening

Aria’s POVThe territory felt peaceful again after my parents left. Not completely normal, but calmer than before. For days, the pack had been filled with tension, fights, warnings, and unexpected visitors. Now most people were finally relaxing again.Warriors returned to normal patrols while servants repaired the last damaged parts of the council wing. Even the younger wolves looked less nervous during training. That afternoon, I walked toward the training grounds and immediately saw Rylan sitting under a tree while several warriors trained nearby.“You’re supposed to be supervising them,” I said.Rylan looked completely relaxed. “I am supervising.”“You’re sitting down.”“That’s still supervision.”One of the younger warriors got knocked flat to the ground during sparring.Rylan pointed lazily toward them. “See? Nobody died.”Before I could answer, Damon entered the training grounds. The younger wolves immediately straightened and became more serious.Rylan sighed dramatically. “See

Damon’s POVThe council room became tense again after Dravenna’s warning.Lucien stayed near Aria while the others looked toward Dravenna carefully. Even the warriors near the doors became alert again.Rylan crossed his arms tightly. “Start explaining properly.”Dravenna looked unusually serious now. “The people behind Seraphina’s attack were never completely destroyed.”Mira frowned immediately. “I thought most of them died years ago.”“Most did,” Dravenna replied. “Not all.”Lucien’s expression darkened instantly. “Names.”The pressure in the room changed the moment he spoke.Dravenna looked directly at him. “The Order of Ash.”Several witches reacted immediately after hearing the name.Evelynn’s face lost color slightly while Mira’s expression hardened.Rylan looked between them. “I’m guessing that’s bad.”“They were extremists,” Evelynn explained quietly. “A secret group made up of witches, wolves, and vampires who believed bloodlines should never mix.”Lucien’s eyes stayed cold.
