DAISY’S POV

I rose from bed quickly after the morning alarm woke me up. I rushed to prepare for the Pack Training. I was already late.

I need to go and face that monster who killed my mother.

Alpha Noah.

I had dreamed of this day so many times. Sometimes I imagined I would scream at him. Sometimes I thought I’d attack him. But now, I wasn’t sure what I would do.

I slipped on my training boots and stared at myself one last time. My heart was beating so fast I could hear it. You’re not weak, I told myself. Not anymore.

By the time I got to the training ground, everyone was already there.

Some girls were fixing their makeup like they were about to walk on a fashion stage, not train. Others were stretching or chatting in groups.

Uh-Oh.

“Daisy is late, with her scattered hair, she's already just like that.”

I ignored her.

“She’s late,” another voice said louder. “The new Alpha is gonna rip your head off for that, cupcake.”

Laughter followed. I clenched my fists but said, Me?

You're not even participating.

She said, “That's because I have special privileges as Eastwind Luna, and soon I'll be Blackwood Luna as well.”

Alright, now everyone listens up.

Next phase of training, we'll be sparring with weapons. Grab a staff and Partner up.

Daisy Storm,is it? He gives a staff to use for the training.

Mila syod, you better sit this one out, Beta elias.

Poor thing doesn’t even have a wolf yet.

I looked at mila, “I can still spar”.I said. My grandfather was a former Beta. He trained me himself.

“Aw, isn't that so cute? Her dusty old pop-pop

Taught her how to wave a stick around.” Mila said with a Mocking smile on her face.

Beta Elias said, “that's very nice, Ms Storm, but,uh,you still don't have partner.

stood at the back, waiting for someone to come partner with me, but no one did. No surprise. I was the "quiet one." The "weird girl without a family."

Suddenly,

Ah!

The ground seemed to shake a little. A presence entered the training field, and silence spread like wildfire. All heads turned.

I followed their gaze.

A tall man walked through the gates. Black boots. Black shirt. Power in every step. He looked familiar. My heart stopped.

Him.

The man from my nightmares. The one I had seen only once, years ago, the day everything changed.

People bowed their heads. Some even knelt.

“Alpha Noah,” they all murmured.

My heart was racing .

He was staring at me his face unreadable, cold, powerful.

His eyes scanned the group, then landed on me. “You,” he said, pointing.

My legs locked in place.

“You don’t have a partner?”

I didn’t answer.

He walked closer. Too close.

“I’m Alpha Noah. The new Alpha of Blackwood,” he said, holding out his hand.

I slapped it away.

“You!” I shouted. “You killed my mother!”

Gasps echoed across the field. Everyone went still.

Alpha Noah didn’t move. He was just staring at me with a determined eyes. “Your name is Daisy, right?”

I looked straight to his eyes, my breathing racing but short. “You disappeared yesterday just like that, pretending you don’t know me! So this is what you were hiding!”

I turned to leave.

“You can’t,” his voice boomed. “You’re part of this pack now. You belong here.”

“No, you can't be me alpha!”

“But I'm already your Alpha and nothing you can do about it, I mean you have one now,” he said. “Because your mother—was once part of this pack too.”

I felt so angry, the more he spoke the words. “What?”

He stared at me, and said, “So if I killed you mother? You don’t really know what happened.

“Shut up!” I screamed.

Everyone started whispering all at once.

“Is she challenging the Alpha?”

“No one’s ever done that.”

“She’s getting herself into big trouble; the Alpha won't spare her .”

What a stupid girl.

But I don't even want to listen to what they’re saying. My heart was racing with anger.

“You lied to me!” I shouted at Alpha Noah, my hands shaking at my sides. “You’re pretending to be some protector… but you’re the one who killed my mother! Don’t act like you knew her. Don’t act like you cared.”

I took a step back. “I’m leaving. I’m getting out of here.”

Noah’s face was seriously unreadable, so determined. “You must not step an inch unless I ordered you to do so.”

That made me laugh—but there was no humor in it. “Of course not. I dare not disobey the beast Alpha,” I said, spitting the words like poison. “Everyone’s scared of you. But not me. I see who you really are.”

He didn’t move. “Then prove it,” he said coldly. “Spar with me. Or are you scared?”

My blood boiled. “That’s the last thing that will happen, why will I be scared of you?” I stepped forward. “ Bring it on, and give me everything you’ve got, Alpha Noah.”

Everyone began to whisper to one another. The whole pack was really watching to see what happened next.

He came forward, and attacked me fast, like lightning, but I ducked and rolled. He was strong, stronger than anyone I had fought before, but I wasn’t weak. I had trained alone for years—pain was my best friend.

We exchanged blows, each one harder than the last. He landed a hit on my shoulder—I kicked him in the chest. He grabbed my wrist—I twisted and threw him off balance. For a moment, just a moment, I almost had him.

But then… he turned serious.

One quick move. One sharp strike. I was almost about to beat him. Everyone was surprised to see my fighting skills.

But then I find myself on the ground, breathless.

He lay close to my ear, and said, don't bring up your emotions while fighting, that's your lesson for today's lesson.

his chest rising and falling. And he added “Don’t ever disrespect me again,” he warned, voice low and dangerous. He dropped his staff walking away.

I felt like cutting him off,or killing him immediately. I was so angry I couldn't control it.

Before I knew it I began to feel something strange in me.

The power in me grew too much —too dangerous.

  • THE ALPHA I HATE    CHAPTER 133 : THE ALPHA'S SON

DAISY'S POV "Now we prepare," Gabriel said. "Tomorrow, when the others arrive, we'll start making our challenges to the current leaders.""How long do we have before the fighting starts?" Noah asked.Gabriel thought about it. "Probably a week. Maybe less."One week. I had one week with my son before he risked his life to save the magical world."There's something else," Gabriel said hesitantly."What?" I asked, though I wasn't sure I wanted to know.Gabriel looked directly at me. "Mom, your magic has been growing stronger over the years, hasn't it?"I was surprised by the question. "Yes, actually. How did you know?""Because you're not just a witch," Gabriel said. "You're something much rarer.""What do you mean?"Gabriel took a deep breath. "Mom, you're a Oracle.""A what?" I asked in confusion."An Oracle," Gabriel repeated. "A witch who can see the future and influence fate itself."I laughed nervously. "That's ridiculous. I can't see the future.""Can't you?" Gabriel asked gently

  • THE ALPHA I HATE    CHAPTER 132: THE RETURN

DAISY'S POVEighteen years laterI stood on the balcony of our new pack house, watching the sun rise over our territory. It was hard to believe that eighteen years had passed since that terrifying night when we fled to the Hidden Valley. So much had changed since then.Noah and I had returned to our combined packs five years ago, bringing with us new knowledge and magical protections that Luna had taught us. We had built the strongest pack in the region, with both werewolves and witches living together peacefully. Our pack now owned three successful companies: a security firm, a healing center, and a magical artifacts business. We had become wealthy and powerful, but more importantly, we had created a safe haven for magical families. But there was one thing missing from our perfect life.Gabriel.My son had chosen to stay in the Hidden Valley to complete his training as a Bridge Child. For the past five years, I had only seen him during brief visits. Each time I saw him, he looked mor

  • THE ALPHA I HATE    CHAPTER 131 : THE ALPHA'S STRENGTH

NOAH'S POV Sarah smiled that same cruel smile Katherine had worn. "To make the Bridge Children powerful enough to be worth stealing.""You wanted us to do the ceremony?" Emma asked in horror."Of course," Sarah said. "Four ordinary babies wouldn't have been much use to us. But four Bridge Children with fully awakened powers? That's a different story.""You're sick," Jake snarled."I'm practical," Sarah corrected. "Katherine and I have been planning this for decades. We knew the Bridge Children would be born eventually, and we knew they would need protectors.""So you became one of the protectors," Luna said with disgust."I became the perfect protector," Sarah said proudly. "Someone everyone would trust. Someone who could guide you to make all the right choices to strengthen the children."Gabriel started crying in Daisy's arms, but this time his cry was different. It was sad and betrayed, like he understood that someone he trusted had been lying to him."Don't take it personally, li

  • THE ALPHA I HATE    CHAPTER 130: THE MISSING BETA

NOAH'S POVWhile we were preparing for whatever attack might come at midnight, I suddenly realized something important was missing."Where's Elias?" I asked Tom, looking around the pack house.Tom looked confused. "Elias? Your beta?""Yes, my beta," I said impatiently. "He was supposed to be taking care of pack affairs while I was gone. Where is he?"Tom's face went blank for a moment, like he was trying to remember something. "I... I don't know. I can't remember seeing him for weeks.”That made me worried. Elias had been my beta for five years. He was reliable, strong, and completely loyal. He would never abandon the pack during a crisis."Amy," I called to the young wolf who had told us about the spy. "Where is Beta Elias?"Amy looked just as confused as Tom. "I don't remember seeing him recently either. But Alpha, there's something strange about that.""What do you mean strange?""I mean I can't remember when I last saw him, but I also can't remember being worried about him being g

  • THE ALPHA I HATE    CHAPTER 129: THE RETURN HOME

NOAH'S POVThree months had passed since the ceremony at the Heart of Magic. The Shadow Master was gone, his power broken when the magical races united under the Bridge Children's call. But I still felt restless.I stood at the edge of the Hidden Valley, looking toward the mountains that separated us from my old territory. Every day, I thought about my pack - the wolves I had left behind when we fled to protect Gabriel."You're thinking about going back, aren't you?" Daisy said softly, walking up beside me with Gabriel in her arms.I nodded. "They're my responsibility. I left them when they needed me most."Gabriel was bigger now, and his magical abilities had stabilized since the ceremony. He could sit up on his own and his eyes had changed from baby blue to a striking silver color that seemed to glow in certain light."The Guardian said it's safe now," Daisy reminded me. "The Council has disbanded, and most of the Shadow Coven members have been captured.""I know," I said. "But I ke

  • THE ALPHA I HATE    CHAPTER 128: THE HEART OF MAGIC

DAISY'S POVWe ran through the Hidden Valley as fast as we could, but I could feel the Shadow Master getting closer. The air was getting colder, and dark clouds were spreading across the sky like a nightmare."This way!" Sarah shouted, leading us toward a path I had never seen before.Behind us, I could hear Katherine laughing and the sound of buildings being destroyed. The thought of that evil woman getting her hands on Gabriel made me run faster."He's tearing apart the Hidden Valley," Luna said as we ran."Where exactly is this Heart of Magic?" Nick asked Sarah."In the center of the Earth," Sarah replied. "There's an entrance through the old mine shaft up ahead.""The center of the Earth?" I said, my heart pounding with fear and exhaustion. "That sounds impossible.""So did invisible valleys and flying witches," Noah pointed out.Emma and Jake were running beside us with baby Lily, while Marcus and Rose carried baby Aaron. All four Bridge Children were still glowing, creating a tr

NOAH'S POV I felt tears starting to form in my eyes."I can't lose you," I said."And I can't live with myself if I let everyone else die," she said. The white light took over her eyes again, and Pyritha's voice returned."The decision is made," she said. "Now we need to prepare.""Prepare for wha

  • THE ALPHA I HATE     CHAPTER 68 : THE BATTLE

NOAH'S POV I opened my eyes and looked down at her. She was still unconscious, but her fingers had definitely moved."She's waking up," I said.Elder Sarah came over to the bed and looked down at Daisy."Her color is better," she said. "And her breathing is stronger."Alex and Maya moved closer to

  • THE ALPHA I HATE    CHAPTER 67: THE ALPHA'S CHOICE

NOAH'S POVI stood up from the chair next to Daisy's bed and walked to the window. What I saw made my stomach drop. The red glow in the forest was getting brighter. And the shapes moving through the trees were getting closer. There had to be hundreds of them. Maybe thousands."How long do we have?"

  • THE ALPHA I HATE    CHAPTER 65 : THE PACK’S

LUCIEN'S POV "It's complicated," Noah said. "But she's free now. The fire goddess is gone."Two pack guards came running over to help. They carefully took Daisy from Noah's arms and started carrying her toward the main house."Get her to the guest room," Noah instructed. "And call Dr. Martinez. Sh
