After Derek left, there was silence in the dining hall for a few minutes, with every one left to their own thoughts. Then Peter decided to break the silence. “Thank you, Kane, for that. I believe he needed it.” Kane shrugged his shoulders, not finding it necessary to bask under the praise. “It is nothing. As you said, he needed that. Freya was more amused that she would call her sister, aunt. “I doubt she will like that.” Aiden enthused, finding it funny too. “I know she won't, but I can't help but want to tease her.” Freya replied, through their private path.Aiden shook his head, noticing that Kane's neck just had a patch of red.

“I can’t kill an innocent man...'' Freya kept muttering, her mind going on a faster than light journey through the mini storages in her brain, looking for a cure, anyway to draw Fayot out of his almost dead state. Dead? Eva bristled out of nervousness, under the gazes of the entire people in the room. After Fayot had woken and expressed his heartfelt appreciation, he had fallen into a deep sleep the next second. Emma hummed , an extra bounce to her feet which were tapping on the floor of the cab to the song she was tuning, as the cab turned into her street. She was home. She couldn’t wait to embrace her sister, Amelia, and tell her all that had happened in her life in the past few months. She smiled at the imagery of the shouts and screams and comical faces that Amelia would make as she would recount her adventurelike-tales, but frowned when her mind train zoomed past the betrayal that she had experienced at the hands of a man whom she had thought loved her, and his family. She would make them pay. When Emma heard her father’s calm question, she soughed, and took a look around, wondering the best lie to gve her old man, so that he could let her in first. But couldn’t he have waited till she got inside? She wondered, aware of how sleepy she was, how hungry she was, and how tired she was. At Esther’s new residence:Freya knew the guy. She hadn’t seen him before, hadn’t spoken with him before, but she knew him. She knew him from the vision she had seen when she had touched Esther’s scarf. She also knew him from Aiden’s memory, one of the many he had shared with her. She knew him from the one that had spoken of the bullying of Emma at the café. He was the one that Aiden had thought quiet, but not entirely innocent, even though he looked like it. Aiden had read off an unsettling energy from him, and Freya was beginning to see that. She was beginning to see that the boy wasn’t what he seemed to be. She wondered what exactly he was.
