|Damien|

I already knew that she would take advantage of the charity ceremony to flee the pack. She had been looking for several ways to escape and had been snooping around for a while. My wolf, Lupus, had been communicating with her wolf mentally without her knowledge. Lupus was so powerful that boundaries don’t work on him.

It was her wolf that pleaded with Lupus to protect her at all costs because she would be in greater danger if she left the pack. I was so surprised when Lupus told me, but I appreciated the fact that her wolf trusted me enough to hint to me about these things.

“We need to keep her in check. She will not follow the main border, of course, so our men have to be at the borders in the forest,” I had informed Orion, and he promised to put everything in place.

Her wolf was the first to snitch on her as she took off from the square. When she shifted, the wolf had left her scent everywhere on the trail, so it was very easy for me to pick it up and lead the search.

  • THE ALPHA'S DEFIANT MATE   Energy

Selene woke up with a terrible headache that morning, but she wouldn’t stop screaming about the whereabouts of the Chief Priestess she had sent for.“It’s been ages since I sent words to her. Why is she not here?” Her right hand held her head from falling due to the headache as she paced the room“She will be here soon. I am sure she got the message already.” Naomi tried to pacify her, but nothing was working. Her hands pushed the arranged cosmetics at the mirror off the table in anger, accompanied by a loud yell.“The more I look at it, the angrier I get. Get rid of it right now!” Her voice almost blew the roof off as the maids trembled under the intensity. They all scurried to the right side of the room after Naomi gave them a signal. There, they brought down the huge mirror in her room that had been shattered the previous day. Selene had gone for the women’s meeting in the community the previous day and entered her room to witness her huge mirror shattering into pieces, right in fr

  • THE ALPHA'S DEFIANT MATE   Outburst

    |Aria|Beta Orion had come back from the border and called for my training that I had been missing out on for a while. He had sent a letter the previous evening with a special note to prepare me for catching up on the missed lessons.“What kind of pupil takes the absence of her teacher as a means to stay away from training?” he questioned as I stepped into the training ground the following morning.“Well, the teacher shouldn’t have gone without leaving some instructions,” my mouth pouted cutely as I found my way to his side.He stared at me for a while, the silence making my heart beat fast, but I didn’t make my fear obvious. I thought he wanted to scold me more, so I was preparing myself for the earful he had to dish out, but he just tossed the sword to me.“Are you going to stay there all day?” His voice woke me up, and I grabbed the sword with immediate attention. He didn’t even wait for me to get ready before he attacked me.“The enemy wouldn’t wait for you, you know?” he said, n

  • THE ALPHA'S DEFIANT MATE   Plotting

The fire in the large hall crackled as the smell of burning pinewood filled the stone room where Sherlock was taking his bath. A river passes through the huge stone cave and flows deeper into the pack's forest, but he managed to set it up in such a way that it formed a bathtub for him, and the water he bathes with flows towards another exit, not mixing with the one flowing out.The shadows of the maids, soldiers, and candles moved on the wall as they set up his bath and gave him what he needed at every point. No one wants to get on his bad side, considering how he would tear them to pieces or make them food for his dogs. The huge wooden door opened, parting the black wolf carved into each side into two, as Rachel came in to give her report for the mission.Rachel knelt on one knee in front of the raised platform. Her cloak was still dusty from the burned carts, and her assistant stood quietly beside her. After about five minutes, Sherlock came out of the water and sat in a big carved

  • THE ALPHA'S DEFIANT MATE   Mischievious

    |Selene|How dare that brat counter my advice? She has been flaunting herself as the mate for days ever since she confronted me in her room. I couldn’t believe my ears when she threatened to show me her potential, and she’s really showing it by having a tight hold on my son.I stared in the mirror in front of me with my fists tightly clenched in anger, but nothing. I couldn’t take the disrespect any longer. It just has to stop before I lose my mind. The way the Beta also spoke to me earlier means he has decided to support Damien.“I will not lose you to anyone!” I gritted hard, suppressing the urge to scream loud. The door opened for Naomi, who had just arrived from a mission I sent her on, and she rushed to my side to ask if I was fine.“Is it still not coming forth? How many days has it been?” she sighed, staring at my angry face.“I need you to bring the chief priestess to this house right now! Tell her to drop every other thing and find her way here!” My voice was over the roof.

  • THE ALPHA'S DEFIANT MATE   Face Off

    |Aria|When I made the resolution to be beside him without giving him my heart, it was highly influenced by his mother’s actions. The way she ridiculed me for going out with Damien, and he ended up coming back wounded, as if that was my fault. As I left his chambers that morning after tending to him all night, I was about to eat breakfast when she barged in and landed two slaps on my cheek without mercy. My eyes blinked in confusion as I held tightly onto my red cheek.“How dare you deceive the alpha and take him out to get him hurt?” Her voice filled the room with a loud yell“He took me out himself. What power do I have to take him out?” I didn’t know where the audacity came from. I was so pissed beyond what I could control.A scoff followed my response. She didn’t expect me to stand my ground that way because I had always been silent anytime she talked to me. With another step to close the gap, she gave me a slap on the cheek I wasn’t covering.“Do I look like someone you can spit

  • THE ALPHA'S DEFIANT MATE   Shadow Games

The cold air whipped through the jagged mountain path as the fifty carts rattled their way across the narrow trail. The men were busy discussing their plans after the trips, with subtle laughter accompanying the creaking of the wooden wheels that blended with the occasional clatter of grain sacks brushing against each other. The sun had gone down to a bearable extent, marking the setting of the sun as the gentle breeze blew over the mountain.Rachel’s men crouched behind the huge trees, waiting for the perfect moment to strike with their eyes sharply fixed on the men, their blades sheathed and their bows drawn. Slowly, they approached the marked area, and the first cart dipped into the bend, giving the sign, and one of the soldiers gave two swift bird call signals.Immediately, the arrows flew into the air, and the men who were less prepared barely had time to scream. The shots hit the targeted areas, and the men slumped over as they pierced through the necks and heads, making them fa
