Chapter Fourteen

Alpha Greg's Pov

My phone rang and I excused myself from the meeting I was in and went to pick it up.

"Hello, we've been expecting Harriet for over an hour now and she's not here, is she ill or something?" Peter; one of our investors asked.

I was shocked, Harriet? It wasn't usual of her to go late to a meeting, she was of a fact never late to anywhere and I admired that trait, but Peter would also never lie to me, I got worried instantly, did she fall sick or was she in some sort of trouble?

"Hello, are you still listening?" Peter asked, jolting me out of my thoughts.

"Yes, I am but we both know it is unusual of her to be late, I don't know what happened." I admitted.

"I know, that's why I'm worried and have decided to call you, her P.A had called her and she had assured us that she's fine and she's on her way, I think she ran into a little bit of trouble and we all know how strong-willed your daughter is, Alpha Greg, I think you should call to check up on her, just t
