Veronica woke up feeling very weak. She wanted to open her eyes but she doesn’t seem to have the energy to do it, even move her hand.

All she could ever do was groan in pain. She felt like her body is swelling and it feels like she was dying.

The last thing she remembered was talking to the dark witch and asking for another potion to used to Liam.

Then, the dark witch gave her the odd-looking bottle and told her to drink it. She said it’s a special kind of potion that doesn’t need a ritual since it was made by an ancient witch.

And, she drank it.

That was the last thing she remembered until she woke up like shit.

That bitch! Her mind shouted.

Anger rose in her veins when she realized that she was being fooled by the dark witch. Instead of giving her the potion that she needed, she gave her something that could make her die! That witch wanted her to die!

She should have known better that the dark, ugly witch was a traitor! How could she trust her when she gave her that bottle to drink?
