Chapter 13

Lexi's POV :

I was woken up by a very loud knock.

As I blinked to clear my vision, I looked to the side of my bed and noticed how empty it was.

I stood up in disappointment wrapping a sheet around my naked body then slowly walked to the door with wobbly legs.

It was true what Ryan had said, he was really different from Evan yet I loved both of them and how they held me.

For the first time I felt whole and very happy. I was finally embraced by them

I moved my hand to Ryan's mark which was on the other side of my neck for a second then opened the door.

Whitney was looking at me coldly.

"Take a bath, dress up and meet me in the dining hall for breakfast." She ordered, then turned and walked away without waiting for an answer.

I went to the bathroom and got into the shower, turning it on.

Once I was relaxed, I cleaned myself while thinking about how angry she looked.

"She couldn't even greet me." I muttered to myself in a whisper.
