The entire pack was awake.No one had slept since my mother disappeared.

Warriors searched every inch of our territory while scouts ran messages from one patrol to another. Every passing minute tightened the knot in my chest.

They hadn't come for Rowan.They hadn't come for Ryder.They had taken my mother instead.
