CHAPTER SIXTEEN

TESSA POV

His nose touched mine and his breath smelt like mint. Everything in me wanted to push him away from me but I ended up anticipating how his lips would taste like on mine. I parted my lip as his lips got closer to mine.

But suddenly he pulled away and began to laugh. I just stood still looking at him trying to gather my composure and was embarrassed at myself for not pushing him away from me.

He laughed and pointed at me before saying “ You need to see the look on your face. I was just trying to get a reaction from you Tess. I know you would never allow me to kiss you, you might probably bite my lips if I do so without you agreeing to it “

“ Is this funny to you Kace? “ I asked angrily and the smile from his face disappeared when he saw that I wasn't happy about it.

“ Tess I'm sorry I didn't know it would rile you up. I was just playing with you, " he said.

“ This is your definition of playing? Is that how you play with your female friends? “ I couldn't help but ask.
