She’d met him. She had met that bastard. One that I had longed to put my hands around his throat, the very one I had wanted to destroy. I gripped the edge of my table so hard that my body was literally shaking; if anything it was because of the anger and resentment.
Calm the fuck down, Tyler! You’ll get your revenge soon! He’ll beg for your mercy. You’ll make him regret ever abandoning you and mom. You will make him pay.
I closed my eyes and took a deep, calming breath. When I opened them back, they were burned with a desire for payback.
