“Son, Patricia made a cake, and I brought it here for you to try it.”

Jade looked at the camera when she heard the lady’s voice. She recognized the young man’s mother, and she was carrying a small tray.

“Patricia was worried because you didn’t eat, so she made another meal for you.” Smiling, Cheska placed the tray on the small table.

“Thank you, Mom. She shouldn’t have bothered anymore because my girlfriend has ordered food for me.”

Jade smiled when she heard what the young man said. She noticed that the lady’s mood changed when she heard about her son’s girlfriend.
