Chapter 45: Age Doesn't Matter

Charlie Jr. was lost in thought when his phone rang. He answered the call in a stern tone, "Hello, Salvation. Why did you call?"

Salvation replied, "Sir Charlie Jr., your grandmother is on her way to the Geek residence. Aren't you going to accompany her?"

Charlie Jr. was annoyed and responded, "She didn't invite me. Why should I go?"

There was a brief pause before Salvation spoke again, "There is a boy of the same age as you in her entourage."

Charlie Jr. clenched his jaw and reluctantly agreed, "Alright." He hung up the phone and left his office, leaving his escort behind.

Upon arriving at his parent's home, the servants greeted him respectfully. Charlie Jr. ignored them and went straight to his parent's room. He entered without knocking and saw his mother, Chloe, crying.
