Chapter 197: Stella's Visit

Stella's mom initially thought that Charlie Jr. and Caleb wanting to marry her daughter would be good news. However, her joy turned into despair when she realized that Stella was caught in the middle of three brothers.

"Follow your heart, Stella," her mother said, shaking her head. "I cannot make any definitive statements about this matter because your partner is someone you will be spending the rest of your life with."

Stella furrowed her eyebrows as she contemplated her options, deep in thought.

Charlie Jr. drove aimlessly around the city, his mind in turmoil after leaving the bar. Eventually, he found himself at the field where Stella had taken him before. As he sat alone, he gazed up at the moon, his heart heavy with longing for her.

"I wish you were here with me, Stella," he murmured, his voice soft. "I know you want me to move on, but I can't. I just can't."

After a while, he stood up and made his way back to his car, his thoughts still consumed by his feelings for Stella.
