Chapter 53: Sign The Divorce Papers

Chloe's footsteps came to an abrupt halt as her gaze landed on the lifeless body lying on the ground. Her entire body shook with disbelief and her eyes welled up with tears.

Madame Agnes's voice cut through the silence, stern and threatening. "You're lucky I made a promise to your father, Chloe. Otherwise, I would have killed both of you and dumped your bodies into the sea. But there won't be a next time."
