Passing Around The Past's Pain

Sapphire heard the beeping of a machine and was faced with darkness. She wondered what was happening and realized that she was closing her eyes.

She tried to open her eyes even though it was as heavy as a lid, she could hear the sound of people going back and forth, the signature smell of a hospital and the bed that didn't feel like her bed.

She was finally able to open her eyes and it was blurry for a moment before everything started to become clear. She blinked rapidly, trying to clear her vision.

She was really at a hospital, she stared around and realized that it was the hospital room that she was admitted into when she sprained her ankle.

“What is happening, Why am I back here?” She asked herself as she stared up at the ceiling. “Last thing I remembered was that I slept on my bed,” she kept talking and tried to sit up but fell back because of the intense pain she felt , her leg was in a cast but the pain she felt was in her stomach and lower
