Chapter 62

Marcus woke up to the annoying sound of his loud alarm clock which did not go off even after his many attempts to hit snooze and dismiss, all he knew was that he was aiming for one of the buttons right at the top of the alarm but could not hit either one.

He was forced to rise from his pillow of despair to properly disarm the alarm. Marcus scoffed at the irony and the chuckled a little bit.

He had picked that particular alarm clock for how conveniently placed its snooze and dismiss buttons were placed at the top. He assumed it would be easier for him on mornings like these to disarm the alarm or snooze it, but that theory had just been proven wrong.

He sat up on his bed and buried his face in his palms after he had disarmed his alarm. He thought about the events of the previous day and it some what did not matter, or so he thought.
