I was so angry. I didn’t know why but I just was. My heart felt sore to see Leon talking to my family.
"Kitten?..." he called and I stopped in my tracks. And stubbed my feet in anger.
"Don’t call me that!"
"You look even cute when you are angry….." He said.
"Don’t call me cute, I'm your boss, you work for me…. and… and…. I’ll tell you what to do…. you must not talk to anyone except me ….." I yelled.
"Wow…. wow… came down kitten… I was just being polite to your family."
"They are not my family," I yelled, I didn’t know even know I was crying until his hands caressed my cheeks wiping my tears
"Don’t cry kitten…. I'm here for you…. don’t be sad… I'm here to protect you…. I won’t talk to them anymore if you don’t want to…" He said with a soft voice.
"I'm sorry, ex… excuse me…" I was so embarrassed…. why should I cry in front of him.
I knew I had never been this close to the opposite sex. I guessed that was why my body is behaving like this.

Leon went to his room and made a call.
"Kelv….hahaha….this girl is such an easy catch….I can swear it’s working….if I can make her fall then I can use her to get what I want….."
"See bro, I told you this will work….so how’s it?"
"She’s already blushing….. I’ll tease her a bit tonight….. bye…. call you later." Leon ended the call…as Jolene came in with a cup of coffee in her hands.
"Hi." She said with a charming smile. Leon smiled back ‘Damn she’s hot' he thought.
"You’re new here….sorry our first meeting was not too nice…. I brought you a cup of coffee to apologize for my actions." She said.
"No…no, it’s alright." Leon said and collected the coffee "Thanks."
"Okay…. Uhm if you need anything don’t hesitate to tell me, oops don’t let Gem know." She said.
"Uhm, why?" he asked.
Jolene made an angelic face "she thinks I'm bad…." She started crying…."I mean all I’ve ever done was for her…she still thinks I stole all her friends and took them as mine…..she’s quite tiring…"
"Don’t cry….I'm sure she’ll understand you someday….but for now, I think you should leave." Leon's face turned cold as he saw her motives.
"What!" She said.
"Do I have to push you out?" he yelled and Jolene crushed her fist.
"You bastard…this is my father’s house…ok, ok….I know what you need…..guards!" she yelled and 5 men ran in. "Beat him up….but don’t spoil his handsome face…..I love looking at it." She said and smiled.
Just then Gem walked into the room.
"Jolene, what the hell are you doing?" I yelled.
"Shut up slut!" Marie came in.
"You shamelessly brought a man into your father’s house….don’t you have shame?" She yelled.
"Gem, henceforth I disown you….you are no more my daughter, I should have done this a long time ago but Marie here begged on your behalf…..Today not anymore……you’re a disgrace." Father yelled.
In tears, I said "What wrong did I do? Is it my fault that my mother died while giving birth to me? why do you hate me so much?. Fine….you've disowned me….. I’ll go…. I’ll leave….. but I and my dead mother will never forgive you."
"Your mother is not dead!" Jolene cut in.
"Jolene, shut it!" mom yelled.
"No Mom, it’s time she knows the truth….. Dad is not your biological father too……" she yelled.
"Jolene!" Father yelled, "Stop spitting trash."
"No, dad…..I'm tired of living like an adopted child….while she’s the adopted one……yes Gem you’re an orphan….." She yelled.
I felt my legs weak…..I almost fell back but Leon held me from falling.
"I’ve tried for you Gem…. you should go now….. guards!! throw her things out and that of her bodyguard." Father said.
I leaned on Leon the whole time….I was in great shock….I wasn’t myself.

Leon led Gem outside the mansion.
"Kitten…… what do we……" she fainted and was about falling but Leon caught her. "Kitten…… Gem….. Gem…..!" he yelled.
Leon quickly took his phone and made a call…. Before 5 minutes men in black suits filled the compound with flashy cars.
Leon carried Gem in.
"Sir, are we taking her to the hospital?" the man asked.
"No…… drive to my house and call my doctor over," Leon said.
