Caden's Pov

The drive home was like a fucking nightmare before it even began — it rained. Hard.

Giovanna didn't have an umbrella so I lent her mine. I couldn't let my favourite bodyguard get soaked to the bone. There, I said it. She's my favourite.

“But what about you, sir?” She asked with a hint of worry in her voice.

I wrapped my arms around me and smiled, shivering as the rain beat the shit out of me. “I’ll be fine.”

The door slammed behind me as an angry Asher stormed towards me with an umbrella.

“Are you mad? Why the hell are you standing under the rain?!” He barked.

“Do you see me with an umbrella?” I answered in a duh tone. When I noticed he looked at Giovanna, I glared back. “Don't you dare take it from her!”

“Jesus Christ!” He hissed then grabbed my wrist. “Come here!”

“Where are you taking me?!” I yelled as he practically dragged me back to the house.

“For change of fucking clothes!” he hissed back.
