The rain had softened into a steady drizzle by the time Lena glanced at the clock hanging above the café counter.

Nearly two hours had passed.

She blinked in surprise.

It didn’t feel like two hours.

Normally when she worked in cafés, time crawled painfully slow, especially when deadlines loomed over her like dark clouds.

But tonight had been different.

Instead of staring at a stubborn blinking cursor on her laptop, she had spent the entire evening talking with a stranger.

And strangely enough, she didn’t regret it.

Adrian sat across from her, looking just as relaxed as he had when he first arrived. His coffee cup had long since been emptied, but he didn’t seem in any hurry to leave.

Neither of them did.

Lena traced the rim of her mug with her finger absentmindedly.

“You know,” she said, “most people would probably think it’s strange to spend two hours talking with someone they just met.”

Adrian leaned back slightly in his chair.

“Most people also spend those two hours staring at their phones.”

“That’s true.”

“Which means we’re already doing better than most.”

Lena laughed softly.

“Fair enough.”

The café had begun to thin out as the evening grew later. A few customers still sat scattered around the room, but the earlier rush had faded.

The warm lighting made the space feel even cozier now.

Outside, the streets were quieter.

“You still haven’t told me something,” Adrian said.

Lena raised an eyebrow.

“Another observation?”

“A question this time.”

“Alright.”

“Why freelance writing?”

She shrugged lightly.

“Freedom.”

“Freedom?”

“I like choosing my own projects. My own schedule. My own space.”

“And yet you looked miserable when you were staring at that article earlier.”

“That’s because architecture trends are not exactly thrilling.”

Adrian chuckled.

“So what do you actually enjoy writing about?”

Lena thought for a moment.

“Stories.”

“What kind?”

“All kinds.”

She leaned forward slightly.

“Romance. Drama. Suspense. Anything with strong characters.”

Adrian’s eyes showed interest.

“So you’re a storyteller.”

“I try to be.”

“Do you write novels?”

“Not yet,” she admitted. “But I want to.”

“What’s stopping you?”

Lena hesitated.

“Time,” she said finally.

“Or fear?”

She looked at him sharply.

“Why does everyone assume writers are afraid to write?”

“Because creating something meaningful means risking failure.”

She opened her mouth to argue.

Then closed it again.

He wasn’t entirely wrong.

“I guess that’s part of it,” she admitted quietly.

Adrian studied her for a moment.

“You strike me as someone who would write a very interesting story.”

“That’s a lot of confidence for someone who met me two hours ago.”

“Two hours can reveal a lot.”

“Such as?”

“You notice details. You ask questions. And you clearly have a vivid imagination.”

She tilted her head.

“And you figured all that out tonight?”

“Yes.”

“Well,” Lena said with a small smile, “if my writing career fails, maybe you can become my motivational speaker.”

“I might consider it.”

Another comfortable silence settled between them.

Outside, the rain finally began to slow.

Lena noticed a faint fog forming along the window glass as the warmth inside met the cool night air.

She absentmindedly drew a small circle on the fogged surface with her fingertip.

“Looks like the storm is ending,” Adrian said.

“Finally.”

“You should probably head home soon.”

“Probably.”

But neither of them moved.

Lena wasn’t sure why.

Part of her felt like the evening shouldn’t end yet.

Which was strange.

She barely knew this man.

Yet talking with him had been easier than most conversations she had with people she’d known for years.

“Can I ask you something else?” Adrian said.

“Sure.”

“If you enjoy writing stories so much… why haven’t you started one?”

She shrugged.

“I keep waiting for the right idea.”

“The perfect idea?”

“Something like that.”

Adrian considered this.

Then he leaned forward slightly.

“What if inspiration is already sitting in front of you?”

Lena frowned.

“You?”

“Why not?”

“That’s a bold claim.”

“Not really.”

He gestured lightly around them.

“A rainy night. A chance meeting between two strangers in a quiet café.”

She laughed.

“That sounds like the opening scene of a romance novel.”

“Exactly.”

“You’re assuming it would be a romance.”

“What else would it be?”

“Maybe a mystery.”

“Oh?”

“Two strangers meet,” Lena continued playfully. “One of them is hiding something.”

Adrian’s eyes glinted slightly.

“And which one is that?”

She studied him carefully.

“I’m not sure yet.”

“That makes it more interesting.”

“Does it?”

“Definitely.”

She leaned back in her chair again.

“You know what?”

“What?”

“You might actually be right.”

“About what?”

“This situation could make a good story.”

Adrian smiled faintly.

“Then maybe you should write it.”

“Maybe I will.”

“Just promise me one thing.”

“What’s that?”

“Don’t make the male character boring.”

Lena laughed again.

“I’ll do my best.”

Another moment passed.

Then Adrian checked the time on his watch.

“Before we leave,” he said, “I want to ask you something.”

Lena’s curiosity immediately returned.

“Alright.”

He met her gaze calmly.

“Have dinner with me tomorrow.”

She blinked.

“That was direct.”

“I prefer direct.”

Lena folded her arms thoughtfully.

“Let me guess. You’re curious again.”

“Very.”

“About what this time?”

“About whether this conversation continues to be interesting outside a café.”

She considered the offer.

Part of her instinct warned her to be cautious.

After all, she had only just met him.

But another part of her—the adventurous, curious part—felt strangely excited by the idea.

“You’re confident I’ll say yes,” she said.

“I’m hopeful.”

“That’s not the same thing.”

“No,” he agreed.

Lena studied him carefully.

He didn’t seem nervous.

Or pushy.

Just calmly waiting.

Finally, she sighed.

“Alright.”

Adrian’s eyebrow lifted slightly.

“That was easier than I expected.”

“Don’t get used to it.”

“So that’s a yes?”

“It’s a maybe.”

“What determines the final decision?”

Lena stood up and grabbed her coat from the back of her chair.

“Whether you text me tomorrow with an interesting plan.”

Adrian stood as well.

“And if I do?”

She smiled slightly.

“Then we’ll see.”

He pulled his phone from his pocket.

“I suppose I should get your number then.”

She took the phone and typed quickly.

When she handed it back, their fingers brushed briefly.

The contact lasted only a second.

But something about it sent a small spark of warmth through her.

Adrian noticed the reaction.

So did she.

Lena cleared her throat lightly.

“Well,” she said, “goodnight, Adrian.”

“Goodnight, Lena.”

She stepped toward the café door.

Just before leaving, she glanced back once.

Adrian was still standing near the table, watching her with that same calm, curious expression.

For the first time that evening, Lena realized something important.

Meeting him tonight hadn’t just been unexpected.

It had changed the direction of her entire evening.

And perhaps—

If she agreed to that dinner tomorrow—

It might change much more than that.

Outside, the rain had finally stopped.

But Lena had a feeling the real storm in her life might just be beginning.

"I think that we should put our heads down and investigate quietly, about the origins of Adrian before we jump into conclusions." Lena said. Heimdall sighed and said "Hey I know how you feel but anytime that I see him I see the tribunal. He may be the sweet hearted Adrian you know now, But if by any chance he is related to the Tribunal, He would change completely not long from now. Besides, Lord Poseidon seeks his attendance in the aethar. I don't know why he does but he told me in a revelation that I should bring Adrian to him for some questioning." "Why did he ask for such a request?" "Well, I know nothing about it but if I can sense anything, it would be that whatever he is calling him for, is not good. The gods as we know them may have some information regarding the origins of Azarel." "I think that we should inform him about what is going on in his life. The thing is i wish he can have some kind of remembrance concerning his past." Heimdall nods in affirmation and rel

She rolled her eyes in annoyance and faced Marcus once more. Adrian bent down and looked deep into lust eyes. He asked "Where do these filthy demons go when we slay them?". "Well, they return to the abyss. But on the apocalypse, The veil between abyss and aethar would destroy and that means both demons and guardians would die in battle. But as of now, no matter how many times you kill us, we won't die. We'll just keep returning, again and again and again". Heimdall exhales a deep sigh of relief and asks him "How many demons are in the abyss. Just give us a rough sum". "Hmmm. We are legion for we are multiplying every minute. We dine and wine and have multiple orgies with one another." Adrian gives Heimdall a quizicall look and looks back at lust. Adrian asks "When will we be expecting this so called apocalyp

Punch after punch, kick after kick, embers continuously was being emitted into the atmosphere. Marcus made a hoverboard out of ice and flew on it as he released continuous spears or daggers of ice from his outstretched hand. His board released as on its path which gave the scene a mix of cold, blood and fire. Meanwhile Marcus darted with blinding speed as he made his way through the herd. Punching, kicking, throwing fireballs, he did it all. He was a calm guy by nature but the most brutal and aggressive being in the aethar. He would crush skulls and through huge balls of fire on the demons. He was very fast like lightning, very grim like shadow and an aura like that of an eagle. Knees began to tremble when the demons saw him. They weren't too afraid of Marcus but any demon he came close to would freeze in shock as he approached them. His glares alone were like that of burning coals and his fists like that of a boulder. Eventually, he got bored and launched himself forward as a giga
