Lena woke up later than usual the next morning.

Sunlight streamed through the thin curtains of her apartment, casting soft golden patterns across the floor. For a moment she simply lay in bed, staring at the ceiling and listening to the quiet hum of the city waking outside.

Then she remembered.

Adrian.

The memory of the previous evening replayed in her mind—the rain, the café, the unexpected conversation that had stretched for hours without either of them noticing the time.

It had felt… different.

Lena rolled onto her side and reached for her phone on the bedside table.

No messages.

She frowned slightly.

“Relax,” she murmured to herself.

It was barely ten in the morning.

Still, she found herself checking the screen again a few minutes later while making coffee in the kitchen.

Nothing.

By noon she had nearly convinced herself that Adrian might not text after all.

Which was fine.

Perfectly fine.

She barely knew him, after all.

Her laptop sat open on the kitchen table as she tried to focus on work again. The architecture article from yesterday still needed to be finished, and a new project had arrived in her inbox overnight.

But her attention kept drifting.

Around one in the afternoon, her phone buzzed.

Lena glanced down immediately.

A message.

From an unknown number.

Her heart beat a little faster as she opened it.

Adrian: Good afternoon, Lena. I hope your writing is going better today.

She smiled without meaning to.

Her fingers moved quickly over the screen.

Lena: Slightly better. I’m still debating whether architecture trends are secretly designed to torture writers.

The reply came almost instantly.

Adrian: I suspected as much. Which is why I have a proposal.

Her curiosity returned immediately.

Lena: That sounds dangerous.

Adrian: Dinner tonight.

She raised an eyebrow as she read the next message.

Adrian: I promise the location will be more interesting than architecture articles.

Lena leaned back in her chair, considering.

Her instincts told her she should probably decline.

Meeting a stranger for dinner the day after meeting him in a café wasn’t exactly her usual style.

But another part of her—the curious, adventurous part—was already imagining what the evening might be like.

She typed her reply.

Lena: And where exactly would this dinner take place?

A moment passed before his response appeared.

Adrian: That’s the surprise.

She laughed softly.

Lena: You’re very mysterious.

Adrian: I prefer the word interesting.

She thought about it for another moment.

Then finally typed:

Lena: Alright. I’m curious.

Adrian: Good. I’ll pick you up at seven.

Her fingers hovered over the screen.

Lena: You don’t even know my address.

Three dots appeared almost immediately.

Adrian: I was hoping you’d tell me.

Lena shook her head with a small smile.

Maybe this was a bad idea.

But somehow it didn’t feel like one.

By the time evening arrived, Lena had changed outfits three times.

She stood in front of the mirror in her bedroom, studying her reflection critically.

“Why are you overthinking this?” she muttered.

It was just dinner.

Still, she wanted to look nice.

Not too formal.

Not too casual.

Eventually she settled on a simple black dress that fit comfortably and a light jacket.

Her dark hair fell loosely over her shoulders, and she applied just enough makeup to highlight her natural features.

When she checked the clock again, it read 6:58 PM.

Right on time.

Almost immediately, her phone buzzed.

Adrian: I’m outside.

Lena took a deep breath before grabbing her purse and heading downstairs.

When she stepped out of her apartment building, she spotted him immediately.

Adrian leaned casually against a sleek dark car parked near the curb.

He looked up as she approached.

For a brief moment, he seemed genuinely taken aback.

“Wow,” he said quietly.

Lena crossed her arms playfully.

“That reaction worries me.”

“I just realized something.”

“What?”

“You clean up very well.”

She rolled her eyes.

“That’s a terrible compliment.”

“It was honest.”

“And you’re still terrible at flirting.”

Adrian laughed softly as he opened the passenger door for her.

“Maybe I should practice more.”

“Please don’t.”

She slid into the seat, noticing the subtle scent of leather and something faintly woodsy.

Moments later, Adrian joined her in the driver’s seat.

As the car pulled smoothly into the evening traffic, Lena glanced at him.

“So,” she said, “are you finally going to tell me where we’re going?”

“No.”

“You’re really committed to this mystery thing.”

“I believe anticipation improves experiences.”

“That sounds like something a philosopher would say.”

“Or someone who enjoys surprises.”

Lena sighed dramatically.

“Fine. I’ll wait.”

The city lights flickered past as they drove through the streets.

Music played quietly from the car speakers, adding to the calm atmosphere.

Eventually the car slowed and pulled to a stop.

Lena looked up.

They had arrived at a small rooftop restaurant overlooking the city skyline.

Soft lights glowed along the edges of the terrace, and the evening air carried the faint scent of grilled food and fresh herbs.

Her eyes widened slightly.

“This place is beautiful.”

Adrian stepped out of the car and opened her door again.

“I’m glad you like it.”

They walked upstairs together to the rooftop dining area.

A host greeted Adrian as if he had been there before and guided them to a table near the edge of the terrace.

The view was breathtaking.

The city stretched out beneath them, lights glittering like stars across the horizon.

Lena leaned slightly against the railing.

“You picked a good place.”

“I hoped you’d think so.”

They sat down at the table, and a waiter soon brought menus.

As Lena scanned the options, she noticed Adrian watching her again.

“You do that a lot,” she said.

“What?”

“Observe people.”

“It’s a habit.”

“Well, what are you observing right now?”

He considered the question briefly.

“That you seem more relaxed tonight.”

“Maybe because I’m not arguing with a laptop.”

“Or maybe because you’re curious again.”

She smiled faintly.

“You might be right.”

Their food arrived shortly afterward, and the conversation continued easily between them.

They talked about travel, books, childhood memories, and strange experiences in different cities.

The more they spoke, the more Lena realized how comfortable she felt around him.

Time passed quickly.

Eventually, the plates were cleared away, leaving only the quiet hum of the evening around them.

A cool breeze drifted across the rooftop.

Lena looked out over the city lights again.

“This was a good idea,” she admitted.

“I’m glad you think so.”

She turned back toward him.

“You know something?”

“What?”

“If this is part of your plan to inspire my future novel, it’s working.”

Adrian smiled slightly.

“Maybe that was my intention all along.”

She laughed.

“Then I guess I owe you credit.”

As the night continued, Lena realized something important.

Meeting Adrian had started as a simple moment of curiosity.

But now—

As they sat together under the city lights—

It was becoming something far more complicated.

Something exciting.

Something unpredictable.

And deep down, she suspected that this was only the beginning of their story.

"I think that we should put our heads down and investigate quietly, about the origins of Adrian before we jump into conclusions." Lena said. Heimdall sighed and said "Hey I know how you feel but anytime that I see him I see the tribunal. He may be the sweet hearted Adrian you know now, But if by any chance he is related to the Tribunal, He would change completely not long from now. Besides, Lord Poseidon seeks his attendance in the aethar. I don't know why he does but he told me in a revelation that I should bring Adrian to him for some questioning." "Why did he ask for such a request?" "Well, I know nothing about it but if I can sense anything, it would be that whatever he is calling him for, is not good. The gods as we know them may have some information regarding the origins of Azarel." "I think that we should inform him about what is going on in his life. The thing is i wish he can have some kind of remembrance concerning his past." Heimdall nods in affirmation and rel

"Well, they return to the abyss. But on the apocalypse, The veil between abyss and aethar would destroy and that means both demons and guardians would die in battle. But as of now, no matter how many times you kill us, we won't die. We'll just keep returning, again and again and again". Heimdall exhales a deep sigh of relief and asks him "How many demons are in the abyss. Just give us a rough sum". "Hmmm. We are legion for we are multiplying every minute. We dine and wine and have multiple orgies with one another." Adrian gives Heimdall a quizicall look and looks back at lust. Adrian asks "When will we be expecting this so called apocalyp

Punch after punch, kick after kick, embers continuously was being emitted into the atmosphere. Marcus made a hoverboard out of ice and flew on it as he released continuous spears or daggers of ice from his outstretched hand. His board released as on its path which gave the scene a mix of cold, blood and fire. Meanwhile Marcus darted with blinding speed as he made his way through the herd. Punching, kicking, throwing fireballs, he did it all. He was a calm guy by nature but the most brutal and aggressive being in the aethar. He would crush skulls and through huge balls of fire on the demons. He was very fast like lightning, very grim like shadow and an aura like that of an eagle. Knees began to tremble when the demons saw him. They weren't too afraid of Marcus but any demon he came close to would freeze in shock as he approached them. His glares alone were like that of burning coals and his fists like that of a boulder. Eventually, he got bored and launched himself forward as a giga
