The city looked different from the rooftop at night.

Lights stretched endlessly across the skyline, glowing like tiny constellations against the darkness. Cars moved through the streets below in slow streams of red and white, while distant laughter and music floated upward from the busy nightlife.

Lena rested her arms lightly on the railing, letting the cool evening breeze brush against her skin.

Dinner had ended nearly twenty minutes ago, yet neither she nor Adrian had suggested leaving.

Somehow the night still felt unfinished.

Behind her, the rooftop restaurant had grown quieter as other diners began to leave. Soft music still played through the speakers, blending with the low murmur of the city below.

“You’re thinking about something,” Adrian said from behind her.

Lena turned slightly.

“You say that like it’s unusual.”

“It depends on the kind of thinking.”

“And what kind is this?”

He stepped closer, resting one hand casually against the railing beside her.

“The kind where you stare at the skyline like it’s telling you a secret.”

She smiled faintly.

“Maybe it is.”

“And what secret would that be?”

“That tonight is… unexpected.”

Adrian tilted his head slightly.

“In a good way?”

“Yes,” Lena admitted.

She turned to face him fully.

“I didn’t plan to spend two evenings in a row with someone I just met.”

“And yet here we are.”

“Exactly.”

He studied her expression carefully.

“You sound surprised.”

“I am.”

Lena crossed her arms lightly.

“I’m usually more cautious about meeting new people.”

“And you weren’t cautious with me?”

“I tried to be.”

“But?”

She hesitated.

“But talking with you feels… easy.”

Adrian didn’t reply immediately.

The quiet space between them seemed to grow slightly more charged.

Lena suddenly became aware of how close they were standing.

Close enough to notice the faint scent of his cologne.

Close enough to see the subtle intensity in his dark eyes.

“You’re observing again,” she said softly.

“It’s hard not to.”

“Why?”

“Because you’re interesting.”

She laughed quietly.

“You keep saying that.”

“Because it keeps being true.”

The breeze shifted slightly, brushing a strand of Lena’s hair across her face.

Adrian reached out instinctively and gently moved it aside.

The simple gesture made her breath catch slightly.

Neither of them pulled away.

For a moment, the world seemed unusually still.

Lena became aware of her heartbeat.

Fast.

Too fast.

“Adrian,” she said quietly.

“Yes?”

“I should probably say something responsible right now.”

“Responsible?”

“Like how we barely know each other.”

“That’s true.”

“And how meeting strangers for dinner usually isn’t the smartest decision.”

“Also true.”

She tilted her head slightly.

“You’re not helping.”

“I’m agreeing with you.”

“That’s suspicious.”

He smiled faintly.

“Then what would the irresponsible version of this conversation be?”

Lena hesitated.

Her eyes drifted briefly to his lips before she looked away again.

“That’s exactly the problem.”

Adrian’s voice lowered slightly.

“What problem?”

“The part where I’m curious.”

“Curiosity seems to be a theme with us.”

“It’s dangerous.”

“Sometimes.”

She looked back at him again.

“You don’t seem worried about that.”

“I’m not.”

“Why?”

“Because I think some risks are worth taking.”

The words hung between them.

Lena felt a strange mix of excitement and nervous energy building inside her chest.

“Adrian,” she said again.

“Yes?”

“You’re doing that thing.”

“What thing?”

“Looking at me like you’re about to do something bold.”

He raised an eyebrow slightly.

“And what makes you think that?”

“Instinct.”

“Your instincts seem very observant tonight.”

“They usually are.”

For a moment neither of them moved.

The tension between them had become unmistakable now.

The quiet rooftop.

The city lights below.

The warmth of the evening air.

Everything seemed to narrow down to the small space between them.

Adrian stepped slightly closer.

Lena didn’t step back.

“Tell me something honestly,” he said.

“Alright.”

“If I kissed you right now…”

Her breath caught again.

“…would you stop me?”

Her heart pounded in her chest.

She considered the question for a moment.

Then answered quietly.

“I’m not sure.”

Adrian’s gaze softened slightly.

“That sounds like permission.”

“It’s not exactly a no.”

He moved slowly, giving her time to pull away if she wanted.

She didn’t.

His hand lifted gently to her cheek.

The touch was warm and surprisingly gentle.

Lena felt her pulse quicken even more.

“Still curious?” he asked softly.

“Very.”

That was all the answer he needed.

Adrian leaned down and kissed her.

The kiss was soft at first.

Careful.

Almost tentative.

But the moment their lips met, Lena felt a sudden rush of warmth spread through her.

It was different from what she expected.

Not rushed.

Not overwhelming.

Just a quiet, undeniable spark.

For a few seconds, the world seemed to disappear around them.

The city noise faded.

The lights blurred.

All that remained was the warmth of his hand against her cheek and the surprising intensity of the moment.

When they finally pulled apart, Lena blinked slightly as if waking from a dream.

“Well,” she said softly.

Adrian watched her carefully.

“Well?”

She laughed quietly.

“That definitely qualifies as bold.”

“Was it a mistake?”

Lena considered the question for a moment.

Then shook her head slowly.

“No.”

A small smile appeared on his face.

“Good.”

She leaned back against the railing again, trying to calm her racing thoughts.

“You realize something, right?”

“What’s that?”

“If I actually write that novel we talked about…”

“Yes?”

“That kiss is definitely going in the story.”

Adrian chuckled.

“I’ll consider it an honor.”

Lena looked out over the glowing city once more.

Everything felt slightly different now.

More exciting.

More uncertain.

More alive.

Meeting Adrian had started as a random moment in a rainy café.

But now—

Standing beside him under the night sky—

She could feel something changing.

Something beginning.

And though she didn’t know exactly where this story would lead…

She had a strong feeling it was going to be unforgettable.

"I think that we should put our heads down and investigate quietly, about the origins of Adrian before we jump into conclusions." Lena said. Heimdall sighed and said "Hey I know how you feel but anytime that I see him I see the tribunal. He may be the sweet hearted Adrian you know now, But if by any chance he is related to the Tribunal, He would change completely not long from now. Besides, Lord Poseidon seeks his attendance in the aethar. I don't know why he does but he told me in a revelation that I should bring Adrian to him for some questioning." "Why did he ask for such a request?" "Well, I know nothing about it but if I can sense anything, it would be that whatever he is calling him for, is not good. The gods as we know them may have some information regarding the origins of Azarel." "I think that we should inform him about what is going on in his life. The thing is i wish he can have some kind of remembrance concerning his past." Heimdall nods in affirmation and rel

"Well, they return to the abyss. But on the apocalypse, The veil between abyss and aethar would destroy and that means both demons and guardians would die in battle. But as of now, no matter how many times you kill us, we won't die. We'll just keep returning, again and again and again". Heimdall exhales a deep sigh of relief and asks him "How many demons are in the abyss. Just give us a rough sum". "Hmmm. We are legion for we are multiplying every minute. We dine and wine and have multiple orgies with one another." Adrian gives Heimdall a quizicall look and looks back at lust. Adrian asks "When will we be expecting this so called apocalyp

Punch after punch, kick after kick, embers continuously was being emitted into the atmosphere. Marcus made a hoverboard out of ice and flew on it as he released continuous spears or daggers of ice from his outstretched hand. His board released as on its path which gave the scene a mix of cold, blood and fire. Meanwhile Marcus darted with blinding speed as he made his way through the herd. Punching, kicking, throwing fireballs, he did it all. He was a calm guy by nature but the most brutal and aggressive being in the aethar. He would crush skulls and through huge balls of fire on the demons. He was very fast like lightning, very grim like shadow and an aura like that of an eagle. Knees began to tremble when the demons saw him. They weren't too afraid of Marcus but any demon he came close to would freeze in shock as he approached them.
