Chapter 7 The video

I looked at the popping out in his fist as he was driving, I know so damn well that he's worried, he knows I might be telling the truth, but he still refuses to believe and that's cause he has so much trust in his girlfriend and I understand what it's like trusting someone so much, I once thought my father would never change I once trusted my stepmother, but what did I get I return, betrayal from the people I called my family.

We have been following that car for the past twenty minutes and from the routes they are taking I cannot remember this way leading to any damn hospital. 

“You know this route does not lead to any hospital” 

“Stop talking, you're annoying the hell out of me right now”

“Oops, I'm not your girlfriend don't speak to me in that tone, she's the cause of your frustration don't project it on me” 

“I swear you're the most annoying human I've ever met” He slammed on his steering,

“Watch out, I'm not about to die young, you can do that with your lovely girlfriend” I mocked shifting to the extreme of my car seat, 

“Now I understand why you're single without a man”

“And you think what you're into is relationship nhh, it's more like business ship” I laughed,

“I swear if I ever find out that you were lying to me all these while, I'm going to….”

“Cancel the contract” I completed even before he could, 

“Enough of that already you've told me that over a hundred times, my ears are hurting at this point, find something new to threaten me with” 

He looked at me but it's more like he lost the words to use, 

“Isn't that the newly opened and trending hotel in Miami, why are they stopping there, I thought she's sick what has her sickness gotten to do with a hotel”

“Fuck, can you shut up and let me think’

“What's there to think when she's right in front of you, she's standing in front of that hotel, you should go yell at her not me” 

“I swear I hate you” 

“The feeling is mutual baby’’

An elderly woman came out of the hotel and grabbed her hand, 

“That's my mother in law, I know there's no way my girl is cheating on me’’ He smiled, 

“Oh is that her mum? Then why is the guy going in with them?”

“It's none of your business it could be a family relation”

“Oops, sorry you win” 

“Of course I know my girlfriend loves me” He bragged, taking in a heavy breath, 

“I hope your joy last though” 

“Are you that anxious to be loved by me, you wanted my relationship to flop so badly so I could love you right?” 

“Not bad, I love how egoistic you're but you're right, I want you to love me and then we go out separate ways”

“What type of foolish condition is that though?” 

I sighed and turned to the side of the window,

“I'm hungry let's go grab something to eat” 

“Sure” He muttered and revised the car. We drove straight to a classy restaurant, this is more like MVP not just some regular place you walk in to eat. We sat down and the waiter came straight to our table to take our orders, I ordered for a macaroni and cheese while Alexandre declined that he wanted nothing, as the waiter left to get my order, he stood up

“Where are you going?” 

“Here, pay for the food and order and Uber to take you back” 

“Wait, what, why would you do that?”

“Cause I have work to do, you don't expect me to sit here and wait for you while you eat, I'm not that idle like you’’

“But I came out here because of you, come on Alexandre’’

“I'm done it's either you take an Uber back home or you can trek it's not that bad, see you” He dropped the dollar notes on the table and left without turning back, that idiot, I angrily sat back down, feeling so pissed but as soon as I sighted my food all my anger went away. 

I decided to walk back home, there was no need to take an Uber it's not like I have something I'm doing, I no longer work in my family company, it's more like I'm jobless right now and if I don't finish the task that was given I might lose everything and I cannot let that happen because of the promises I made to my mum.

I was almost close to that hotel when I sighted someone familiar, it was Alexandre's girlfriend and now she's with that same guy we saw with her earlier, but it's crazy cause right now they are kissing and caressing in front of the lady that was supposed to be her mother, I looked around and thought of what to do, then I remembered my phone, I quickly brought out my phone and took a video of them, after which I took some shots as well, I didn't want to walk past them so I quickly took a taxi back home. 

I got home and kept on rewatching the video over and over again and no matter how many times I watched this video I still cannot understand why this lady is going to cheat on Alexandre with someone like this drug addict looking guy, I mean Alexandre loves her so much, he would probably do anything for her and even give her whatever it is that she wants, I don't get the reason why she's cheating on him, I don't even know if I should call it cheating on him cause it's more like she's making a fool out of Alexandre, she's with him cause of the things she gains from him and not because she loves him, and from what I overheard in their conversation she's probably planning to leave him after using him.

I can't show this video to Alexandre. He's probably going to see me as a desperate bitch that wants to end his relationship, but then I can't keep this to myself, what do I do?
