INDIGO CHAIN

[Four years earlier, Starlight College]

Jaxon sat on a bench outside the college, tears streaming uncontrollably.

His fifth girlfriend had just ditched him. He should be used to it by now, but the pain still cut deep.

Was love supposed to be the sweetest thing in the world? All it ever gave him was pain, suffering, and anguish.

I'll never love again, Jaxon told himself.

When he spotted Kai strolling toward him with two cones of ice cream, he quickly wiped his tears and forced a smile.

"Babe!" Jaxon smiled, trying to hide the hurt.

"You okay?" Kai asked, handing him a cone.

"Nothing," Jaxon defended quickly.

"Don't you trust me anymore? Friends share everything—happiness, pain, suffering, joy, and laughter," Kai said, sounding hurt.

"My girlfriend... she broke up with me. Am I so unfortunate? Will I ever find love?" Jaxon hiccuped, hugging Kai tightly.

Kai smirked for a split second before replacing it with a worried expression.

He pulled back and cupped Jaxon's face gently.

"She wasn't worth you. You're pretty, nice curves, spankable ass, and that sweet, killer voice. Don't waste your tears on her," Kai comforted.

"Just what I needed," Jaxon stood with a genuine smile.

"That's my boy. Come on, I'll drive you home," Kai suggested, heading toward his car.

Jaxon's smile faltered when he felt a cold, dark, deadly gaze on him. He turned, but it vanished instantly.

Weird, he thought, sliding into the passenger seat.

Unknown to Jaxon, he'd just caught the attention of someone who never noticed anyone.

Moments later, Kai's car stopped in front of a club.

"Thanks, babe," Jaxon winked, stepping out.

Kai flashed a blank look and drove away.

Jaxon took a breath and slipped through the back door into the changing room.

As expected, his mother was already furious.

A sharp slap landed across Jaxon's cheek.

Jaxon didn't break down—he just smiled bitterly.

He was used to the harsh treatment by now.

"What took you so long? My customers are waiting and demanding you," Evelyn blasted.

Yeah, Evelyn was Jaxon's mother.

"I'm sorry," Jaxon apologized.

"Save it. Go get dressed and give your best performance," Evelyn glared and stormed off.

Jaxon scrolled through the sexy outfits in the racks and chose black net fabric.

Moments later, he was ready.

Makeup: checked.

Outfit: checked.

Hair: checked.

Jaxon cat-walked onto the stage. The men's eyes filled with lust as they stared, some getting hard instantly while fantasizing.

He was born a boy but forced to live as a girl

Bundles of dollars rained down as he danced seductively.

He didn't smile, but his face card was lethal.

• Damn, he's too pretty for this world.

• I can already feel my dick wrapped around his mouth.

• The best at turning me on.

Evelyn greedily collected the dollars on stage.

My lucky day, she smiled inwardly.

The show ended. Jaxon tried to leave, but Evelyn dragged him back.

Two hefty guys hauled Jaxon to one of the back rooms and threw him onto the bed like trash.

"Please don't do this!" Jaxon begged, half-conscious.

The next sound was fabric tearing.

They ripped his outfit off.

One man unbuckled his belt and slapped it across Jaxon's skin repeatedly.

Jaxon flinched, body going numb, then he cried.

[Present]

Game on.

Leonard didn't reply—he disconnected the call.

The guts. Jaxon narrowed his eyes, sliding into the driver's seat.

He dialed again. Leonard answered.

"Leo, you disconnected on me—a whole me—"

"Sir Leonard doesn't want to talk to you," Noah cut in. The line went dead.

Jaxon sighed, staring at the diary entries. He wouldn't have believed it, but it was clearly Kai's handwriting—no one could forge that.

"I was such a fool," Jaxon clenched his fists.

The betrayal stung worse than the slaps from his past.

Just as he started the car, Ryu and Vincent slid in uninvited.

Jaxon frowned. "The heck!"

"Let's go to the mall together," Ryu smiled.

"Why?" Jaxon snapped.

"Why is everyone snapping at me? It's not fair," Ryu pouted.

"Who dared snap at my Ryu? Was it Vincent? Should I break his head for you?" Jaxon winked. Vincent gulped.

Ryu laughed.

"It's not Vinny. Kai snapped at me this morning just for saying hi. He was like 'Ryu, stop talking to me, you annoy me,' this and that," Ryu explained.

"Why the mall? Your closet is bursting with unworn clothes," Jaxon changed the subject, starting the engine.

Vincent noticed the dodge.

"Bruce sent an invite—he's throwing a party at his mansion tonight," Ryu replied smoothly.

"Why?" Jaxon asked, eyes on the road.

"Dumbo, your single drops today! I'm so happy for you," Ryu squealed and kissed Jaxon on the cheek.

"I'll kill you," Jaxon glared.

Ryu stuck out his tongue playfully.

"Watch the road, not me—I don't wanna die young," Ryu teased.

Jaxon flipped him off.

Ryu laughed like he was possessed.

"Vin, tell Ryu to stop—he's distracting me," Jaxon said, fighting a smile.

"Ryu... uh... please stop laughing," Vincent said calmly, heart racing.

Jaxon had called him Vin.

Ryu surprisingly went quiet.

"Oh!" Jaxon smirked.

They arrived at the mall. Jaxon and Ryu pulled on face caps to avoid fans.

They split up, but Ryu and Vincent stuck together.

Jaxon wandered into the men's designer underwear section, eyes lighting up at his favorites: indigo shiny waist chains and a sleek black lace jockstrap.

He's obsessed with the way they frame and tease—subtle chains that glint under lights, the jockstrap hugging just right.

A naughty plan formed.

He arranged the indigo chains draped over the black lace jockstrap, snapped a pic, and sent it to Leonard.

Blue ticks—he saw it.

Three dots appeared... then stopped.

No reply. Snubbed.

"Son of a dick," Jaxon rolled his eyes.

Ryu appeared. "Your ATM."

"Why?"

"You need to pay for my stuff."

Jaxon kicked off his boots and chased Ryu.

"You bought them, not me!"

[Clifford's Villa]

Leonard stepped out with Noah, staring at his phone—the pic of indigo waist chains and black lace jockstrap.

He wasn't shocked by Jaxon's boldness; he was impressed. Already imagining how the chains would catch the light against Jaxon's skin, the jockstrap leaving just enough exposed.

Noah opened the car door. Leonard slid in.

"Any schedules today?" Leonard asked, still zoomed in.

"Bruce invited you to his party, plus live interviews with TV casts," Noah replied.

"Cancel all the meetings," Leonard said calmly.

Noah turned. "Including the interviews?"

Leonard zoomed closer. Indigo. Bold. Intentional.

"Yes. Especially those."

"And Bruce’s party?"

Leonard locked his phone. "I'll attend."

Noah frowned. "I thought you said—"

"I changed my mind."

Silence.

"He’s going to be there, isn’t he?" Noah asked.

Leonard's lips curved. "That’s the point."

[Mall]

Jaxon caught Ryu near the escalator and grabbed his arm.

“You’re paying me back,” Jaxon warned.

Ryu gasped dramatically. “You’re so abusive!”

Vincent trailed behind with bags. “You two are impossible.”

Jaxon's phone buzzed.

He stopped.

Leonard: Wear the indigo tonight.

His heartbeat skipped.

Ryu leaned over. “Who texted?”

“No one.”

“Liar. Your ears are red.”

Jaxon shoved the phone away. “Shut up.”

Another message.

Leonard: And don’t send me things you’re not ready to show in person.

Jaxon froze.

Vincent noticed. “What happened?”

Jaxon lifted his chin, smirking. “Nothing.”

But deep down? He wasn’t sure if he'd just started a game...

[Kai’s Penthouse – Bedroom]

Soft LEDs glowed. Kai sat cross-legged on his bed, phone propped for live stream. Comments flooded in.

"Are you going to Bruce’s party?"

"Is it true Jaxon’s song drops today?"

"Are you and Leonard still close?"

Kai’s smile stiffened—but he recovered.

"Why is everyone asking about Jaxon tonight?" he laughed lightly. "Isn’t this my live?"

More comments:

"Because Bruce’s party is for his release."

"Are you jealous?"

He switched off the phone.

Jaxon. Jaxon. Jaxon.

Every damn thing was about him.

Kai’s jaw tightened.

Bruce’s Mansion – Night

The villa glowed like a palace. Chandeliers shimmered, luxury cars lined up, cameras flashing.

Inside, elites filled the hall. A massive LED screen read:

“JAXON – SINGLE RELEASE NIGHT.”

Whispers rippled.

“He’s really back.”

“Tonight will be messy.”

“Is Leonard coming?”

Doors opened.

Kai entered first, dressed sharp, chin high. Cameras swarmed.

"Kai! Thoughts on Jaxon’s release?"

"Are you competing?"

He laughed gracefully. "There’s room for everyone at the top."

But his eyes scanned—for him.

Music dipped as another car arrived.

Tate and Liam entered. Tate walked confidently, arm linked with Liam, tense but owning the room.

Whispers:

"Why are they here?"

"This is gonna get interesting."

Kai’s smile faltered. Tate noticed. Eyes locked—electric tension.

Doors opened again.

Jaxon stepped in.

Black silk shirt unbuttoned low, fitted black pants hugging his thighs and ass.

And underneath?

Indigo waist chains glinting faintly with every move, black lace jockstrap framing him perfectly—hidden, but ready to drive Leonard insane.

Confidence radiated.

Ryu vibrated with excitement beside him; Vincent stayed protective.

The room shifted.

Whispers grew.

"He looks insane."

"He’s glowing."

Kai’s smile cracked for half a second.

The Tension

Bruce hit the mini stage, champagne raised.

“Tonight is about talent, success, and celebration! Let’s welcome the king of the night!”

Applause erupted.

Jaxon stepped forward.

Then—

Main doors opened.

Slow. Deliberate.

Every head turned.

Leonard entered. Black suit. Cold expression. Dangerous calm.

Silence fell.

Kai’s heart dropped.

Jaxon didn’t turn right away.

He felt him. That presence.

When he did, their eyes locked.

No smile.

No greeting.

Just tension. Heavy. Charged. Unfinished.

Leonard’s gaze traveled down Jaxon's body... lingering where the shirt parted, imagining the indigo chains and lace beneath.

A faint smirk.

As if to say—You wore it.

Leonard approached, stopping close. The hall froze. Cameras flashed. Whispers exploded.

Jaxon tilted his head, meeting his eyes fully, daring.

Loud enough for nearby ears: "So… do you like the indigo?"

He leaned closer, fingers tracing the back of Leonard's hand. "I wore it just for you," he added, smirking. "Every chain… every strap… all for you."

The crowd went dead silent.

Kai froze mid-step, jaw tight.

Bruce instantly regretted the party.
