As a lone figure appeared from the massive pack house, a sharp, cold wind typical of the late hours filled the air. As he approached the main gate, the urgency in his steps gradually subsided. Every instinct in his body warned him to exercise caution because he couldn’t afford to attract the warriors’ sharp, almost predatory eyes.

Lira woke up that morning to the soft light of dawn coming in through her window. The subtle aroma of the flowers in bloom outside permeated the crisp cool air. She got out of bed and went to the attached bathroom for her morning routine after some quiet reflection. A straightforward luxury, the warm water of the bath enveloped her, removing any remnants of sleep and leaving her feeling renewed and energized. She took her time and relished the peaceful seclusion of the early hours. As soon as she was dry, Lira grabbed the new dress her father had given her a few days earlier. The dress was exquisite, and it had a gentle flowing fabric in a calm shade of blue that brought to mind a bright summer sky. She turned slightly to appreciate the way it draped as she smoothed out the invisible wrinkles. Her lips formed a ti

Zara, who usually shared the room with Karina, was completely alone that night. Her heart ached more because of the heavy, oppressive silence that had once been filled with the gentle sounds of two young women living next to each other. At the far end of the room, far from Karina's now-empty and eerily still bed, she sat on her own bed. A deep sadness oozed through her, a raw unforgiving pain that showed itself in the constant stream of tears that traced paths down her cheeks. The air seemed to thicken with sorrow. A new channel of grief was carved into her skin with every tear which felt like a tiny hot river. The worst scenario that could have happened to her beloved friend kept repeating in her mind. Zara was completely devastated by the images of Karina, who had been lively and full of life only hours before, but now the eerie memory of her unconscious form had taken her place. She made a vain attempt to console herself and keep herself together in the face of the emotional pai

She's the same maid who testified against Luna Selene and now she is lying half dead on her bed.Is this reality, or is his mind playing tricks on him? Just when he was on the verge of discovering the truth, this happened to her.He turned to the doctor with a blank face, careful enough not to show the dread he felt within him.Rylan cleared his throat before speaking."I have complete faith and trust in you.
