CHAPTER 2

MERA SHAWN'S POV

"Yish,my head"I said as I weakly sat down on the floor meeting myself covered with a blanket.

"Huh?"who covered me with this?"I asked rhetorically.i was pretty weak,dirty and hungry.i picked up my phone where I hid it and tried calling Alec.

I saw his missed calls but he wasn't picking when I called.i was worried,have never been so tatacted as I am now.my hair was dirty and I had bad odours.

I heard footsteps.someone was coming and when u finally saw who it was,it was Scott.

"You're awake"he said as he walked in.

"Hmm"I hummed quietly

"I'm sure you must be hungry"he said.i was shocked

"What?"I asked

"Are you hungry?"he asked

"Yeah"I nodded

"Alright be right back"he said and left me flabbergasted.

After some minutes.he came back with a tray of food and drinks, damn

"Here, eat"he said as he dropped it in the floor opposite me.

"Thanks"I said as I picked the food and started to eat.scott stood outside watching me.i started to eat gently and seconds after,I started to cry.

I was missing mum,dad and alec.i didn't like this place and it was all dad's fault.

I dropped the food,laid back on the floor and started to cry more.i cried for so long till I started to develop headache.i just stared

"Sorry"it was Scott's voice.i sat upright.the food had already been taken away.

"How long have I cried"I asked

"Pretty long"he answered

"Hm, I'm really pained"I said

"Yeah obviously.just try making yourself happy,you know"he advised

"Yeah thanks for the advice"I said,he nodded

"Don't you have anything doing than just stand here all night and day?"I asked.

"No"he replied

"If you're bored,phone?"I asked

"I don't have a phone,I don't need one"he said,okayy

"Of course you do,when you're not on duty,you knoww,you can get busy with something,make calls,chats with friends and families,you know, something like that"I told him

"I don't have a family"he replied

"Hm,what happened"I asked

"All dead, I'm the only surviver in he fire outbreak.i had to join the pack warriors, young Alpha's the only one I got"he told me,I rolled my eyes

"He's nice?"I scoffed

"Very"he answered

"Well,I don't think he is to me.i'm human,nobody seems to like me here, especially Tori and I ain't taking it easy on her"I frowned

"Well I guess Young Alpha is easy on you"Scott said,I hissed.

"I'm sorry about your family Scott and thanks for the food and the blanket"I said smiling.he was about to reply when Tori walked in.I Stood Up.

"What is this weak human still doing here"she asked frowning.you know,I think her and her brother Treyson are just so the same,so rudee.

"Excuse me"I hated how she talked

"Take her out for trial, I'll do the job"she smirked

"But princess"Scott called to her

"You heard me right"she yelled

"Trial?what trial? Scott?"I was confused.he held me by my two hands and quietly dragged me out.As we walked along,he released me,he was being nice.

"What's trial Scott?"I asked as he took me to where that was totally unfamiliar to me

"It's like a punishment,severe punishment.its in levels.its so risky, really risky,you could die, depending on the levels"he said,I was scared

"So what level I'm I going into"I asked

"Lowest level"he replied,I sighed,well that's better.

"Hm okay"I said quailing.i knew I wasn't gonna use my powers.i was really gonna be hurt.i just stopped walking,he was already ahead of me a little.

"It hurts"I asked,he stopped walking and looked back.he walked Back to me and slightly touched me on my shoulders.

"Yeah it does,try to endure.you're strong.resist using your special powers"he smiled me.i nodded and smiled.

We reached there after some few minutes of walking tiredlessly.Tori was already there,so fast?.

"How did she?"I asked him

"Short cut"he answered.the place was big with just few guards surrounding the entire place.

"Bring her to the middle"she commanded

"Stay strong"he whispered to me as he held my hands dragging me to the center.i was placed in the center facing Tori.

She was far away from though.

Immediately,she changed into her wolf form.She really needs to do something about her wolf.she isn't fine at all.

Before I knew it,she started running towards me.closer,closer and then closer with the first move she made on me,I saw myself on the floor.My Body hit hard on the floor.i felt a sharp pain ran through my body.

My sight was already blurring.i groaned in pains.As I wanted to get up,she made another move on me,this time using her claws throwing me to another end of the field.i just lost it,I lost everything in me,I was totally weak,and started to lose consciousness.

"Tori stop"I thought I heard someone said that before I passed out.

I gasped as I jerked from the bed I was in,until I met with treyson sitting on the couch opposite me.

I wondered what I was doing in his room,on his bed!.

"Bathroom"I indirectly asked.he directed me to where it was as I walked into the bathroom.i just stood staring at myself in the large mirror I found there.

I was seriously wounded.i was extremely dirty!. The clothes I wore when I walked in this territory were still on me.i haven't taken my bath for only God knows how many days.My hair was rough and untidy.i was weak!.I missed using my powers anyway.

My wounds had just healed a bit,not completely tho.The memory of what Tori did flashed back and I quickly knocked it off.

"You still have hope Mera Shawn"I said to myself still looking at the mirror.later,I moved out of the bathroom, meeting him sit on the bed,I scoffed.I walked to the door and was about walking out.

"Where you going?"he asked.i turned to him.he was already on his feeds ad he walked to me

"To the dungeon of course"I was so annoyed and pained,I don't have any strength for anybody's time,I was tired.

"No,you don't need to go back,you can stay here"he said smiling,I just looked at him irritatedly.

"It's okay"he said as he placed one of his hands on my shoulders.

"Get your hands off me!"I almost yelled as I removed his hands from my shoulders.

"You don't still believe I'm nice huh"he asked looking at me,I hissed.i didn't answer him.

"You can stay here tonight"he said

"I'm not staying here"I frowned looking at him

"I'm not asking you Mera,It's a command"he said sternly

"Whatever"I hissed.

"Have the bed, I'll take the couch"he said as he walked to the couch sitting down as he got a book to read.i was confused for sometime.i slowly walked to the bed, sitting down on the bed folding my legs, placing the pillow on my folded legs.

I wasn't ready to sleep yet.i was idle and Alec hadn't call yet.i brought out my phone where I secretly kept it.the phone screen already had cracked.

(Right now, I'm phone screen has chirped too🥺🥺😭😭)

No missed calls or messages yet.i was so bothered.i dropped the phone on the bed.

Treyson was still busy with the book he was reading.

"How was your breakfast and were you still cold after when you were covered with the blanket?"he asked.

"Why are you asking?you didn't give me the blanket,so I'd love you to mind your business"I said annoyingly not looking at him

"I was"he sharply answered,okayy,I didn't see that coming

"Thank you"I said it with unseriousness

"say it politely"he commanded,I didn't say anything.i scoffed

"I thought it was scoff"I said,

"Well I guess I'm being nice again"he smiled.i'm not gonna believe he's nice.he might come off guard hurting me real bad.although,I think I feel free when I'm with him.

I didn't reply me cause I knew what I was gonna say out.

He dropped the book 

"Does it hurt?"he asked.

"It does,it really hurts"I answered still feeling a little pain

"I still feel pains but I'm trying to ignore it"my voice broke.i couldn't believe I was being opened to him.

"I know how you feel"he said so calmly

"No you don't"I said wiping away my tears.

"Hmm,do you need any massage or pain reliever"he asked

"No, I'll heal.i don't know till when but I'll heal completely soon,thanks"I thanked him

"Hm okay,I guess you're bored now.what do you wanna talk about.we can play games if you want, you're in?"he asked

"No, I'm weak and exhausted",I said as I fully laid on the bed cause I know when I really start talking,I might not be able to stop talking.i covered myself with the blanket,I wasn't comfortable tho.

"Are you hungry?"he asked

"No"I answered sleepily.

After some time,sleep wasn't coming.at the same time I was not comfortable sleeping/staying on his bed while he slept on the couch.

I stood up from the bed and sat upright on the bed.my body was kind of relieved.

"Treyson"I called to him to confirm if he was asleep

"Yes"he answered.really??he wasn't even asleep.tch,what was keeping him awake.

"Are you comfortable on the couch?"I asked

"Yeah I am"he answered

"Oh okay,treyson"I called to him again

"Yes"he answered

"Why haven't you slept yet"I asked

"Nothing"he answered

"Okay"I said already planning my way out to the dungeon.

I waited for some long period of time as I gently stood up from the bed, making no noise.i quickly tipped toe to the couch where he slept to confirm if he had already slept.

"Thank goodness, he's asleep"I whispered.he faced me

"Woahh"I lowered my voice.i was overwhelmed with his beauty.he was so goodlooking and handsome

"Well I think somebody looks Good when they sleep"I smiled.

"Your lips,hmm"I licked my lips staring at his lips

"Your eyes,oh gosh, Everything Everything,nigga is beautiful"I said with a cute voice.yish.i realized I wasn't gonna stop talking

"Tch Mera,you should learn when to talk, nigga isn't even listening"I said as I quietly slapped my face with my hands disappointedly as I turned to the door direction.

"This is midnight,so walk quietly"I said as I was about opening the door

"Seems,you've forgotten, I'm still awake"it was him.he wasn't asleep!!TF.wait so he heard all what I said????

I turned to him as I met him sitting in the couch

"Do you really have to wake up now??"I frowned as I sat beside him on the couch

"Well,I wasn't actually sleeping"he said

"Soo,you heard all what I said?"I asked

"What did you say"he asked,I was relieved

"Nothing"I said smiling as I bite my down lips

"Well it's a good thing you're smiling now"he said smiling.i changed my sitting position, sitting opposite him folding my legs.

"I don't wanna get sad all the time.the trial is all past now.your so called sister will be happy.i don't want that.i want to be happy to make her angry."I said looking at him annoyingly

"You guys are all the same"I added

"I'm different from Tori"he defended

"You both came from same woman"I said

"That doesn't count.i saved you from the trial, remember?"he asked

"So it was your voice I heard before I passed out"I said

"Sorry about it"he apologized

"Whatever.do I really have to sleep in here,on your bed??"I asked,he smirked

"Yes,a command"he said, nigga is so commanding and so rudee

"I don't just see it nice,I sleep on your bed with how I look so dirty, while you sleep on the couch"I complained

"Leave it that way"he smiled,I scoffed as I stood up to the bed and sat down.

I sighed sadly!!

"What's Wrong"he asked

,"I just missed my families.i missed using my powers.why does your dad have to restrict me using my powers,so not right and fair"I complained

"I'm sorry about it"he apologized

"Whatever,it sucks so much!!"I hissed throwing a pillow to the wall as I cried

"Mera,calm down, will you?"he asked.

"Whatever,I need to sleep"I said wiping away my tears as I laid on the bed already making another plan leaving this room.

"Goodnight"he said as I dozed off.
