Roseline had made up her mind. She was going to escape during the party. Yes, she was going to escape and go home to her father.
First, she needed to see him because she's missed him terribly.. Secondly, she needed to hear his own side of the story so she could know the truth. Why would he kill the late King's innocent wife just to get revenge? Why would he do such a thing?
Something in her guts kept telling her it was risky trying to escape. If King Lincoln should catch her, he was definitely going to get mad and punish her.
Recalling how he had slapped her the previous night made her feel so bad and reminded her of the fact that he could hurt her whenever he wanted.
