CHAPTER 3.

MUM.

Kelvin's POV.

I woke up the next morning to find myself in an unknown surroundings. I hurriedly got up from the bed, my heart beating fast as memories of the previous night, flashed through my head.

I let a fellow man give me a blow job? How could I have allowed such to happen?

I immediately glanced beside me and noticed the bed was empty, so was the room, meaning the brute that claimed I was his mate had either left or.......

Just then, I heard the sound of the shower running and jumped off the bed, a huge lump forming in my throat.

'No.' I thought. 

He was still around but he mustn't see me here. That dude was crazy and only the moongoddess knows what he did to me, to allow my body to react that way towards him.

His aura and presence yesterday, alerted me that he wasn't an ordinary person so he definitely did something to me.

I could be in danger.

I checked the door and noticed it was unlocked so I slipped out of the room and ran without looking backwards, not stopping to catch my breath till I got into the woods, on the pathway that led to the pack house.

I increased my pace, so I could get home on time, because I knew my mother would be so worried, since she hasn't seen me since last night.

I stopped running when I entered the house and headed towards our room when I saw my mother kneeling on the floor, her head bowed.

She was shivering and in front of her, stood the Luna of the pack.

"Where is that idiotic son of yours? I want him now." The Luna, Maya yelled as she raised her hand, obviously attempting to slap my mom.

Anger burned through my veins so I hurriedly dashed forward, using a speed I never knew I had to stop the Luna.

"What the fuck are you doing?" I snarled as I slapped her hand away harshly, shielding my mum from her view.

Maya let out a gasp, holding her hand to her chest as she glared at him.

"You worthless fool! How dare you? This is treason." She yelled.

"I don't care. You can do whatever you want to me, call me names but don't you dare try to hurt my mother?" I roared and she gritted her teeth against one another, obviously pissed.

"Guards." She suddenly screamed and two of them ran in.

"Yes Luna." They bowed in respect.

"Throw him into the dungeon and teach him some manners." Maya pointed at me, fuming but I didn't care.

"No, your highness, p-please." My mum stuttered as she coughed out blood, alarming me.

My heart skipped a beat from panic as I hurriedly dashed to grab her but one of the guards blocked my way and hit me in the face, hard.

I heard the bones in my nose crack as blood gushed out of my face. I staggered, my voice blurry as all I could hear before I blanked out was my mum's scream.

When I came to, I was in the dirty dungeon, clad in only my boxers as the cold breeze from outside, blew inside.

I gritted my teeth against one another, wrapping my hands around myself as I began to shake terribly, the cold reaching my bones.

I didn't bother shouting to be freed, because I knew I wouldn't leave here, unless Maya said otherwise.

She hated my guts and that I could stand up to her, while everyone else feared her authority.

Right now, all I was worried about was my mother. She was sick and was also an omega, my dad abandoned when he discovered she was pregnant.

Since she was a bastard of a prestigious home, she was chased out and almost became a rouge until the Alpha of this pack saw her, decided to take pity on her since she was pregnant and allowed her to serve the pack house as a maid.

My mum was the best thing that has ever happened to me and I cherished her so much but unfortunately, she might not make it.

She might not get to see me fulfill all the promises I made to her because she fell victim of frostbite due to the heavy cold around and since she had no wolf to warm her up, her condition kept growing worse.

Also no money for treatment and the little I had, were always taken away by bullies, after they have beaten me up.

I am working at the club because the boss promised to give me the whole money for her drug at the end of the month, which would be tonight.

That means there was still time, I could finally save mum and all I had to do now, was to get out of here.

"Hey Trash." I heard the cringy voice and looked up to see Maya, standing outside the cell, in a fur coat.

"I can see you are awake and not battered enough." She snarled but I just ignored her.

"You know I could save you all the stress and trouble, even give you the full payment of your mum's drug if you agree to fuck me." She said and I froze, turning sharply to glance at her.

Maya had always been making passes at me, because for an unknown reason, she was attracted to me and wanted me to be her boy toy but I couldn't do that to the Alpha, who took us in.

I couldn't betray him, especially since I already have a way to make the money but my mum could also be saved earlier.

"You seem to be thinking it through. If you are in, meet me at my chambers by 6 this evening. I have the guards release you now." Maya winked at me, before turning to leave with her head raised high.

As promised, the guards released me and I immediately ran into our little room, to see my mum, looking all pale and haggard on the bed.

The cloth beside her was filled with blood from her coughing, her hair had started to fall off and she was really trembling on the bed.

"M-mum." I gathered her into my arms, hating how she felt so fragile.

"Kel. You have b-been rel...." She suddenly coughed again, spitting a larger amount of blood as my heart skipped a beat from panic.

Oh moongoddess! This was getting worse. I don't think I can wait till evening.

"It's fine. Stop trying to talk." I scolded and she smiled weakly.

"You know my greatest joy in this life is you." She began, struggling as a knot formed in my stomach.

Why the hell was I sensing an ominous feeling in the air?

Everything was going to be fine. My mum would be healed since I already have two ways to get her meds now.

My work and the Luna's offer. One of them would have to work, right?

'Mum would be fine.' I kept consoling myself as I almost didn't believe it.

"I don't mind people trampling on me Kelvin but you? You are special, my very special boy. Your destiny is different from others and you wouldn't be like other men." My mum continued as I narrowed my eyes at her.

Be like other men? What does she mean?

"Remember what I told you about your wolf?" She asked and I nodded.

"Good. Everyone thinks you are an omega but you are not, my dear. You are actually way stronger than hundreds of them combined but your true self would only show when you meet him." My mum said but I was confused.

Meet him? Who the hell was that?

And about not being an omega, I believed her because every red moon, which only surprisingly happens on my birthday, I transform into a kind of wolf I don't recognize but mum always insisted that I kept it a secret until I met the one.

I thought it was a she but now she was mentioning a him.

"I love you Kelvin and even if I am not with you physically, I would always be in your heart." She muttered and my stomach dropped.

Okay. I wasn't liking where this was heading. I should go see my boss now, since it was already month ending, I can still take my pay, it doesn't matter the time.

"Rest now mum. I will be right back." I pecked her on the forehead, adjusted her properly on the bed after changing the sheet and covering her properly with the duvet.

I dashed out of the pack house afterwards and entered the club to see my boss, giving instructions as always.

"Sir." I bowed in greetings. "It's ending of the month."

"So?" He scoffed and I frowned, raising my head.

"I would be receiving my pay today." I answered and he burst into laughter, holding his stomach.

"Pay? You are such a funny fool, you really believed my words that night? I was ki..." He had barely completed his sentence when a force out of nowhere controlled me.

I clenched my fists and punched him hard in the face, throwing him backwards as he bounced on the ground, before passing out, bleeding.

The surroundings erupted into a loud uproar as everywhere left what they were doing, their eyes widening with Jaws dropping.

"Did an omega just punch the boss, who is like an Alpha?"

"Impossible."

"But how did he?"

The whispers continued but I didn't care, because I was stunned myself, beads of sweats gathering on my forehead as I turned aro

I couldn't believe that bastard tricked me. I guess it was time for Plan B now, but why do I have a very bad feeling about this?
