Chapter 1.

Crimson Pack Big House.

"Edward you're insane, she can't be The Luna of this pack find someone else. Plus It'll be a disgrace to our pack... For Heaven's sake, she's an Omega... A servant nothing else!" Abigail uttered.

Shrugging off her statement Edward walks over to the back bar and pours some whiskey into a glass and he starts sipping it as he contemplates Abigail's statement.

"She's the only one I want," Edward breaks the awkward silence that had begun to grow.

"No, no no," Abigail shouted in and out. This wasn't the first time that Edward had brought up the news that he wanted Esmeralda an Omega to be his Luna, and for the past few months he's been insisting that it was time everyone knew that she will be his mate.

"Hear me for once Edward we can find another mate for you but not her, the level of embarrassment it'll bring to you as an Alpha of this pack would be outrageous." Abigail pleaded with him.

All her effort to plead with him was to no avail as Edward had already made up his mind about his mate. He wanted Esmeralda to be his mate.

"There will be no talking me out of it, she's the one I want!" Roared Edward slamming the glass containing the drink on the floor, which causes Abigail to shiver.

"No one tells me what to do I'm the Alpha of this pack, I'm the leader!" He shouted harshly with a shift in his tone.

At this point Abigail was shaken, she was afraid that Edward might lose control and attack her. With a frown on her face, "I'm sorry if I have offended you, but I was just clarifying that mating with an Omega is considered like that with a human being or worse like that with a rogue. And the other members of the pack may not want even to follow your orders merely because they wouldn't want a weak Luna." Abigail explained.

Edward paced back and front across the room like a caged animal thinking of possibilities of how the news may land him in jeopardy with the ancestors and the entire pack, the sudden reality that was imminent was slightly approaching that their love would die.

"See that's the reason, a leader shouldn't be judged based on his love life nor his appearance, a true leader is witnessed by his sheer strength and will." Edward defended himself. "I don't care what they will think of me little sister, that's their problem, not mine." He concluded.

Abigail was worried, and why shouldn't she? Cause Edward's love saga took a dramatic turn a few months ago as he considered that he will be marking her as his mate, an action which would not be insane but also expose the secret to the entire pack.

"You know if you decide to go on with it will be a matter of time before everyone found out?" Abigail asked.

"I'm aware of that there's nothing you should worry about big sister," he mutters.

"And I couldn't think of someone better to be by my side to rule our pack other than Esmeralda, from the time we were little children me and her had a special connection. So I don't think no one else deserves that title other than her." Edward explained.

"Summon her for me," Edward commanded.

"No, I will not... This saga of yours has to end I'll not stand here and let you make a mockery of yourself." Abigail croaked crossing her arm narrow eyes she stared at him dead serious.

"It's time you should overcome your ego and listen to me, I know you are the leader this doesn't mean you should do everything regardless of others' opinions so we are gonna deal with this like our ancestors..." Before she could finish Edward interrupts.

"Screw the ancestors, I don't give a shit about their opinion I'm gonna do what I want."

"Now if you don't mind go and tell her that she's being summoned by her Alpha," Edward concluded as he pointed at the door for her to leave.
