Chapter One Hundred and Sixteen

Six months after

"Wake up, Alix," I heard Reagan whisper in my ear.

I wanted to groan and then sit up, but I decided against it. I turned, then pretended to be still sleeping.

"You are such a bad actor," he whispered, then slapped my ass gently.

I turned and rolled my eyes at him. He smiled, then leaned down to kiss me and then my stomach.

"How is our peanut?"

As if on cue, he started kicking.

I grabbed his hand and placed it on my stomach.

"Your peanut is kicking like he is on a football field."

He chuckled. "As he should."

I grabbed a pillow and hit him on the head. "I don't blame you. Maybe you should try carrying him for some minutes."

He grabbed the pillow from me and placed it on the bed before kissing my nose and lips. He pulled away before I could deepen the kiss and stood up.

He pulled off his top and opened the drawer to grab another one.

"We made breakfast. Come have some before it gets cold." He said then put the top on, but I had another thing o
